DEH-P2900MP The unit turns off after maybe 10 minutes listening the radio. Why ?

i just changed from EQ powerfull to Custom, and it didnt turn off. Thanks

It will run for a while 10, 30 60 mins at times then power cuts out and will not come back on until you unplug the wire harness and replug it again then works then turns off ad you have to repeat doig the wire harness.

It could be getting week of over heated .. i do know this for a fact if u dont have enough power out, it can do that.. try un doing 1 or 2 speakers and see if that dosent do the trick. cuz some speakers have a sertan ohm. pediance level, if that type of speaker has a very hi out put level u should try a lower watt speaker. also some speakers can drain your radio's strenth, so watch for ur out put levels.. good luck.

Pioneer DEH - P2900MP How do you set for Aux 2 . I can get Aux 1 , CD and am/fm

What's not explained in the manual is that you need to do this while in the clock setting mode. Radio OFF/ press and hold SOURCE/ while in this mode, press FUNCTION to scroll thru the auxiliary inputs/ press ^ & v to turn on and off/ SOURCE to exit.

HOW SET TIME TO PIONEER DEH 3450?

turn the unit off. hold the audio/function button until display changes. turn volume knob until clock is displayed. press up/down to change hour then right/left to go to minute then up/down to change. press audio/function to exit. turn back on.

My car battery died, after giving the car a jump, the car started, but now my pioneer DEH-P2900MP car stereo won't work at all. could you please assist. thanks.

If you have already checked the fuse(s) that supply the radio and none are blown, you may want to try to reset the unit by disconnecting the power feed to it. Keep in mind that the radio likely has two power feeds...one for the ignition and another that keeps all memory functions up and running, even when the ignition is off. Disconnecting both of these may allow the radio to reset.

I don't know how to wire this pioneer deh-p2900mp

the wires will not be the same. the best thing to do is go to the nearest place where they sell radios and they do have to sell the two plugs that have the same wiring diagram as the radio and then direct connect to the two plugs on the car.

No sound with iPod Adapter CD-IB100II in the DEH-P2900MP

on the radio and the adapter their is a spot for the cord that connects the two the ends have different colors on them it should be purple and black just make sure the colors are matched up if they are off it will still read all the info and say its playing but no sound will come out

Clock settings

Phaedrus De Wolf--

To set the clock on the pioneer DEH-P2900MP Detachable face radio/CD/MP3 Player, follow the following steps in order.

Press the large round knob and hold for 5+ seconds to tuen the radio "off".

Once the radio is off press and hold down the large round knob 5+ seconds to enter clock set mode. (Note: You must hold the knob down otherwise you will just turn the radio back on.)

Now choose the < or > button next to the large knob to toggle between hours and minutes. Rotate the knob to adjust the digits.

When complete press the radio/sat button @ the top right of the stereo face.

When finished, quickly press and release the large knob again to turn the radio back on.
