- Check if your PC is running at its maximum efficiency - Close all
side processes that are not of any use to you. This can be done by
pressing :Ctrl+Shift+Esc and then going to processes. In there only
close the processes that are under your user name and are of no use.
NOTE: DON'T CLOSE "EXPLORER.EXE". This will free a sizeable amount of
your RAM, making your PC generally faster. - While copying anything, avoid multi-tasking as that will simply slow down your PC, causing a delay in the copying. IF NONE OF THIS WORKS, then create a back-up of all the software in your Pen-Drive and then format it. This should just about do it. If still the problem persists, go to your dealer- your pen-drive must be in its warranty period.
NO...
Flash drives are just like any drive....nothing specific....you cant del system files...even if you format the pen drive the system files are there....

Sol

2 switch off and switch on the PC
3 reconnect the pen drive
hi the screen on the portege m200 needs the wacom pen and tablet driver just go to wacon.com the specific driver you need is this on Driver 5.05-7 for Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit), XP
I would replace the USB cable, also uninstall the software and with the printer unplugged from the computer install the software again, then when it asks plug in the printer. Normally issues arise when the printer is connected before the drivers and software are installed.
Just bought the pen and I've got the same problem. I've tried 2 PCs, one with XP SP2 and the other Vista (using Vista driver from Wizcom). Both give me the same "cannot communicate with Pen" error message. I've double checked every recommendation I could find on Wizcom's website and the internet, but looks like either the cable or pen is faulty. Would be good to know if the new cable they're sending you fixes the problem.
It could be a problem with the pen but I am not positive. I knew someone who had a problem a little different from this but involving the pen not working how it should. They called the company they got the laptop from (Gateway in their case) and they were sent a new pen for free. Lenovo might do that if it's under warranty or you could buy a new pen. It could be a problem with the drivers, though, in which case I am not entirely sure what to do. Maybe reinstall?
