I'm lost! Can't get the number buttons to work? I push the clock button, get the 24h/12h choice then can't get any farther. It's been in storage and can't seem to find the manual. When I'm not trying to set the time I can get the auto defrost button to work, but can't enter numbers. Besides that only the more, less and the stop/clear buttons work. Tried to research for an answer but there doesn't appear to be one, or at least one that applies. Also, the model is too new for the hidden buttons. Before you answer Thank You!!! I appreciate the help.
I tried it again a few days later and everything worked fine......?? strange, but hey, at least it works now!I tried it again a few days later and everything worked fine......?? strange, but hey, at least it works now!

You'll need to be a bit more specific on the model. There is usually a button that says 'clock' or 'time'. Push it. If you have a keypad, enter the time, then push the clock button again. If you have a knob and no pad, you may need to twist the knob to set, then push clock button again. That's been the process on every microwave i've ever owned and a fair number of other kitchen appliances to boot.
I suggest first pushing the Button that says "Time" on it or "set Time" then use the number buttons to set the time. Then don't push anything else for like a minute and it should be set.
try resetting the clock. If it is digital, push the clock button and then the number buttons untill you have the proper time displayed...then push the clock button again. If your clock and timer are manual, try pushing in the clock lever and turning it 1/4 turn. If this works it would indicate that your timer has a start and finish time and that the oven is not working because the clock has rotated around to the finish time.
You can get the manual here http://www.lg.com/us/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=LSB5682SW&matchedModelCode=NOT_MATCHED&searchEngineModelCode=LSB5682SW&initialTab=documents&targetPage=support-product-profile# SETTING THE CLOCK The CLOCK pad is used to set the clock. The clock has been preset at the factory for 12 hours operation. When the range is first plugged in, or when the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the timer in the display will show with power failure "PF". You can make a choice between 12-hour clock and 24-hour clock (refer to the page 28): 1. Press CLEAR/OFF pad. 2. Press CLOCK pad. 3. Press 1, 3, 0 pads to set the time if the time of day is 1:30 (whatever the time is choose the correct numbers)
4. Press START pad. The clock will start.
CHANGING HOUR MODE ON CLOCK(12hr, 24hr) Your control is set to use a 12-hour clock. If you would prefer to have a 24-hour time clock, follow the steps below 1. Press and hold COOK & WARM pad for 3seconds. "OPt" will be displayed. 2. Press "1" pad. The display will show "CLO 12H" 3. Press "1" pad to switch between the "12H" and "24H". 4. Press START pad to accept the desired change I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.
hello there: to set the time on you're micro wave you will need to push the clock button and use you're number pad to enter the time and once you have got the time set properly you will need to press the clock button again.... hope this helps you out sincerely D.Jones
Did you try pushing the clock button, setting the time (eg. 300) for three o'clock, and then push the clock button once more. If this doesn't work, don't push the clock button at the end. Just set it, and let it stay until it stops blinking - and then it should be set. If you need further assistance, let me know and I'll help you. I'm just going by the usual standard of setting clocks on microwave's - but maybe with this model, there's another way. Good Luck to you! - Jim
