but now its flip keypad is not working its 1,2,3, and main manu swith are workin and new key pad not availabel in ahmedabad gujarat city.now what i do ???

Hi.
I had the same problem with my p990i. I stripped the flipped down and inspected the microswitch which gets activated when the flip is closed. The mountings and actuators get worne out after prolonged use. I cleaned everything out and reseated the switch correctly. Worked fine after that. If you do not have a bit of technical experience, i don't suggest you do it yourself. The ribbon cable is very easy to break.

my flip keypad did'nt work well. it think its with the so called ribbon wire, which is very sensitive to be used in the long run
