I can't get rid of the tone when a message is sent

Whenever I send a text message, it plays the most annoying, loud tone to show that the message has been sent. The only time I don't hear it is when my phone is on vibrate. I have gone through phone and sound settings and cannot figure out how to get rid of it.

I have that issue too I have an e900 on T-Mobile, I used to work for T-Mobile and have had Samsungs in the past so I know my way around one but cannot find how to turn this annoying sound off. I've tried setting it to Vibrate and Silent but still it continues to make the sound, I called T-Mobile Tech Support about a different issue and I mentioned the noise it makes when it sends a text and they have no idea what it is either.

My cousin has it on Vodafone and doesnt have this problem, could it be the T-Mobile software thats the issue? Or do you have it on a different network?

I have the same problem! also i have a tone everytime i end a call, does anyone else have this or know how to change it? The solution given on here doent work

I have the same problem its driving me mad. I've been trying for ages to get rid of this. Its also very embarrassing when you are trying to send a quiet text. The solution does not work at all for me!

scroll down to no.5 settings,select
text message,select
sending options
check the delivery report is turned off or unticked .

I have tried this, delivery reports are turned off, it still does the jingle each time i send a text. The only solution is to hold my thumb over the speaker hole immediately after pressing "Send".

hello,

clik on the menu of phone, screw to message then clik on it ,scro down to message setting clik on it.scro down then clik on delivery report then clik on NO or OFF.

When i send texts sometimes the reciever dosent get them and it shows up as sent in my sent box and also on my data usage on my bill is this a common problem?

mine does it to you just have to resend the text message yeah it's annoying but resend it till they get it.

Annoying beeping with every letter on a text message

You should be able to turn the keypad tones off:

Go to:

Menu;

Settings;

Phone Settings;

Phone Profiles;

'Normal' [providing your phone profile is set to 'normal'];

Now, scroll two places to the right until you are in the 'Phone sounds' tab. Select 'Keypad Tone' and turn it 'off'.

When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!

Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......

If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.
