Who have purchased 2 (actually 3 but the other one was a different kind) utilitech 0050024 outdoor timers and both keep resetting to midnight on monday as of the power has gone out. All programmed info is erased too. I have tested different outlet s and extension cords but it continues to reset no matter what. I'm now certain it's not a faulty product since all (3) timers have lost time or in this case reset itself to midnight. We hasn't even tried UPS outlet to make sure there is uninterrupted power. i believe it resets upon shutting off a programmed event.

Sometimes people get batches of bad timers.
However this timer does not show a program carryover, and does not appear to have battery for carryover. Although many new timer have a capacitor backup, it is unclear if the Utilitec offers this feature.

Use reset button to clear memories, and then reprogram.
This timer has 2 modes: programmable or photocell
As a general rule, these timers come with 1 year limited warranty, but unclear who backs Utilitec warranty.
Buy two new timers from different Lowes store, and return defect in new package.

Stanly outdoor power center keeps turning off

Try unplugging timer.
Plug timer into different outlet.
Do not plug into extension cord.

1) Copy following link to identify timer:

2) Stanley power center, is made by Westinghouse and has robust 1 year limited warranty... but unknown who honors the warranty.

3) There is no reset protocol for this type timer.

4) F setting is permanently OFF.
If you can manage to get the timer to O, then plug yard stake into a cheap wall timer. Then use the cheap timer to replace yard stake timing.

5) Yard timers are made to last a couple seasons, and some do not work at all.

Need instruction to set a utilitech outdoor 3-outlet photocel timer #0149289

It seems there is more than 1 Utilitec 014289 outdoor timer.
Each has same buttons, but different words under each button.

One has 'week-hour-min' on top row.
Other has 'manu-mode-prog' on top row

Manuals for both types appear on link below
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#6-week

Manuals contain more useful information and illustrations than I can type in an answer and the manuals seem straightforward. If you need help with specific programming steps, add a comment with identification which manual applies to your timer. I will be glad to help for free.

You can also take advantage of fixya phone support.
Fixya expert will walk you through the steps for a price.
