Possible that during the power outage there was fault in the mains supply and with the oven being plugged on it is possible that the power supply or the main board is damaged. Unless you are able the top cover it is difficult to confirm if this can be silly fault like a fuse blown which is on the mains circuit or a Step down transformer or the processor board.
Your TV has a fuse on power circuit board ( that is a standard part). You need to resemble your tv to get the fuse ( make sure to disconnect all power and antenna before doing this service). Usually any tvs use a clear glass cover on fuse ( you can see a small conductor inside the glass). Replace the fuse if the small conductor gets broken. If after the fuse replacement, you got no joy on tv, the receiver part could be get problem also ( due to storm attack) and need to repair / replacement.
I'm assuming you meant to say your draft inducer will NOT turn on. I unfortunately do not have a wiring diagram in front of me (they are usually stickers inside the burner compartment) but you should check to make sure your hood fan is running and that the air switch for the hood fan is closed, your ignition module wont receive power until the hood airflow is verified.
A blown fuse is a very common type of fault due to poor design very often triggered by power surges due to outages or lightning storms. However, the most likely parts to short are easily tested, usually in-circuit, with an ohmmeter and then easily removed to confirm.
Note that it *may be* useful to replace a fuse the *first* time it blows (though it would be better to do some basic checks for shorted components first as there is a small chance that having a fuse blow the second time could result in additional damage which would further complicate the troubleshooting process). However, if the new one blows, there is a real problem meaning that your power Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement. Hope this work...
my kenmore double oven model 41165 has no power....its hardwired 40 amp....it stopped working when it was cooling down after the slf cleaning cycle..we had a storm and had a minute power outage. Finakky got the door open but it wont turn on at all. Tried the breakers but i stll get no power....no even the bulb.......thanks....
HI. the storm has caused an electrical surge that traveled through the home wiring system and, the Oven control received the hit in this case. it is damaged at this point, and it should be replaced asap, if possible. this code represents a major control breakdown. the board is ruined.
There is a thermo fuse located behind the back panel of the oven. If the oven appears to be working but is not actually heating then this is the cause. The oven will have to be removed from the wall, power to the oven shut off at the main breaker and the back panel removed. the thermo fuse is just to the left and up from the center of the convection fan. It has 2 wires connected to it.
