SOURCE: font size problem when printing documents

Font sizes are a program thing nothing to do with the printer
Examine your E-mail client set up in the read section[Different E-mail programs different setting ] probably under a heading
Tools/Options and look at how the font sizes are organized.

SOURCE: printer font too small

I think your driver may have been corrupted; WIndows likes to do that now and then to see if you are paying attention - or maybe it's just evil.
Go to the Control Panel, open Printers and Faxes, find and delete the printer (icon) identifying your printer. If it shows more than one installation of your model, delete those too.
With the printer on and connected, reboot your computer. This should force Windows to 'find' the 'New Device' and reinstall the driver for it.
I would have the original HP installation disk handy in case you are using an older version of Windows that may not have the driver for that model in its library.

SOURCE: Change font size

Two things you can try!

1.From your Browser you can change text size in the browser.
I am using Internet Explorer for this example
Click on View from the top tool bar, Select Text Size.. you can increase and decrease the text size of a web page.

2.Before you print check Print Preview and Increse the page size.
My Browser defualt to Shrink to Fit,
I can change that to 120% and it will print the page very large.

Most programs in Windows will offer a Print Preivew
there you can make adjustments, and this can also be accomplished with Page Set Up..

Hope this Helps

How to change font size

The font size that appears within printed documents has to be adjusted in the application you are printing from. For example, if you are printing a Microsoft Word document, change the font while editing the document in Word. If you are printing a web page, you will need to change the font in the web browser settings (Chrom, Firefox, IE)... for Chrome, here are the steps:

  1. Click the Chrome menu snp_2696434_en_v1 on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. In the "Web Content" section, use the "Font size" drop-down menu to make adjustments.
Some websites prevent the browser from changing just text size. For those sites, Chrome won't be able to adjust the font size.

When printing from websites... text prints in very, very tiny font size. How do I change font size??

Well before printing, you can copy & paste it on a word document. After that, increase font or change colour.
OR
You can do file \ print \ properties \effetcs tab \ % of normal size! Here you can increase the size using the slider.

I'm out of blank ink. Can I print document with colored ink only? How?

If you want to print text & documents with a colour other than black then for MS Word and many other applications:
  1. Highlight the whole document by either pressing [Ctrl A] or use the mouse to highlight everything by right clicking 3 times rapidly or pressing the left mouse button down at the start of the document then scrolling to the end of the document while holding the button down and then releasing at the end of the document.
  2. Then go to the FORMAT tab and selecting FONT from the drop down list.
  3. Then select the colour you with to use from the FONT COLOUR box drop down list. Just be sure to choose a readable colour and not choose automatic or pure black.
  4. Once this is done you can print.
Note that images that use black will still print but will look strange without the pure black content but muckhof what appears to be black acually isn't and is a combination of the 3 / 5 or 6 other colours inthe printer so may print normally.

Can't enlarge font. The print is so small from a printing, that you can barely read it.

If the font size from the printer is smaller than on your screen then you need to adjust the font in the print options/advanced tab. The font rint out is defaulted to either 8 or 10. Go to Print Preview...Print options and go to the advanced tab and set print font size to Scale for A4 paper.

It sounds like you are printing to postcard size paper.

Increase font size on printed matter, i.e., emails, etc.

Go to your printer, right click on printer and go to Preferences, make sure you are using Letter size of 8.50x11.00. Under your paper quality print documents on 8.50x11.00 (scale to fit).

On IE go to view click Text size and select from smallest to largest text.
To change the Font size in IE go to control panel, open the display-open the appearance tab and change the font size.

Epson c88 how print in magenta

Do you mean "how do I print text in Magenta instead of black". Well, you change the colour of the text from black to magenta. For example in Word, you would select (highlight) all the text, click on Format, then Font. Then click on the down arrow at the side of the Font Color box, then click on Magenta. To check you have the right colour, click again on the down arrow at the side of the Font Color box, and select More Colors. Then click on Custom. Magenta has a Red-Green-Blue value of 255-0-255. Now print the document and it will come out with magenta text.

If this is not what you want, please come back with a new comment explaining further.
