Question about Kenmore 30172 / 30174 / 30179 Gas Single Oven

Kenmore electric oven 337098

After baking, when I press the cancel button, the tone starts beeping, short beeps, and an F1 signal appears. I hit cancel again and it stops, but it starts again within another minute. This continues until I disconnect the electricity. This problem does not occur every time I use the oven.

I have a 6-year-old Kenmore Electric Range Oven that periodically ( out of the blue -- when in use) flashes F1 and continually raises in temperature -- to a very high degree. Just how hot, I don't know, because we always hit the circuit breaker to cut the power. This has happened a few times in the past 2 years and each time we hope and assume it will not happen again. I would think that these appliances would have some kind of built-in fire prevention system to just shut off in a case like this -- so that a fire is not caused. Any suggestions, besides get a new range before my house burns down?

Dacor oven beeps and shows F1 code

-F1- Alarm “System Watchdog Circuit”
The system will detect a failure in the internal watchdog element relay circuits and will activate a
cancel feature. F1 will be displayed in the time digits and will beep until the cancel button or another
function is selected. An F1 failure could be detected in cook or time of day mode. With an F1 failure
the ERC is picking up a command to supply heat without receiving an input from the membrane. The
watch dog circuit is designed to prevent this.
If the beep continues after pressing cancel check the main control (ERC)
Dacor

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

Kenmore Oven going crazy

The bang may have been an element arcing over.  Turn off the power and remove the element.  If it shows any form of damage, replace it.  If you're not sure, use a continuity checker to check it.  If you have two elements...do this for both.  You will likely find the problem.

My oven is beeping!

Try turning it off at the mains, then whilst turning it on, press and hold the cancel button.
Check the fuse and any other electrics on the same ring; eg. Washing Machine - this can indicate that the circuit breaker has tripped, replace any fuses and check integrity of electric on that circut, then flick it back on.
