Question about Canon IMAGERUNNER 2230 Copier

1 Answer

Canon PowerShot Camera A70

It will no longer take a picture, the LCD Monitor goes black after reviewing pictures already taken. I have installed three sets of new batteries without changing the out come. It will let me review, but when I plug the camera into the computer to download and save the pictures it shuts down. I really think I have perhaps pushed the wrong button on Menu or Function by mistake. It worked great one minute and the next the monitor goes blank anytime I switch the mode to camera. I'm not to brite with all the technical terms on how things are set or used. I'm 72 years young and have not caught up with the younger generation on the use of electronic. I have reformatted the CF Card with the same results. Any halp would be appreciated. Ralph Craig. [email protected]

My camera takes picture but there all black? The

Last year my Canon PSA60 got the black screen in shooting mode. Menu display was normal and so the picture review mode.
Canon service center replaced the image sensor for free. When it happened again, I asked the service center for unit exchange (trade-in/upgrade program). Now I have my PowerShot S5IS. Good bye PSA60.

Canon has issued this in their notice page: http://support-asia.canon-asia.com/index.jsp?fuseaction=support&prod_type=notices-digitalcameras-lcd
