LEXMARK OPTRA E312L DOES NOT PRINT

PRINTER DOES NOT PRINT ANYTHING! INCLUDING WORD DOCUMENTS (MICROSOFT OR WORDPAD), INTERNET ARTICLES, IMAGES, ETC. WHEN I PRESS PRINT, MESSAGE POPS OUT SAYING THERE IS AN ERROR BUT DOES NOT SPECIFY IT!! HOWEVER, THE PRINTER LOOKS PERFECTLY NORMAL -LIGHT ON TO STATE THAT IT IS READY! ALL THE CORDS ARE FIRMLY PLUGGED IN, THERE SEEMS TO BE NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!? WHAT DO I DO?!

yes, it does print the test page
does that mean there is a PC problem?
how do i reload the driver?
can i just reinstall the printer?

Just to determine if the problem is a printer or PC problem, try pressing the button at the bottom of the lights 3 times quickly and see if it prints out a test page. If it does then try reloading the driver on your PC.

Hey, sorry not to get back to you yesterday, one of those days. Yes reinstalling the printer on your PC would be great. (Make sure the connection between PC and printer is okay)

MY PRINTER ALL LIGHT BLINK ING

The light indicates that there is an error on the printer and it will immediately stop printing. Turn the printer off and back on. Cancel all print job. If the lights are still blinking, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance.

It wont print. file is in queue but nothing happens

Paper feeds about half way and then stops. All of the indicator lights come on.

If you get a paper jam, the Paper Jam indicator light promptsyou to clear the paper path. If the paper has just started to feed from thepaper feeder when the jam occurs, pull the paper straight up out of the paper feeder. Open and close the printer cover toresume printing. If the paper jam occurs inside the printer, remove the paper from the output bin. Turn the printeroff, then on. If this doesn't clear the jam, open the printer cover.Remove the print cartridge and cover it.For additional assistance, please contactLexmark Technical Support

My Optra e312l was working fine, but now will not pull in paper and the paper jam light comes on. There is no paper jam.

Which geographical region you live in. Is it monsoon season in your location at present. Kindly do let me know for solution.

The E312 is printing pages in all black. I've replaced the cartridge and cleaned it. What do I need to do to get it to stop printing all black/vey dark?

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Printing document from computer

Regardless of the application, open the document, click File, then click Print and select the printer. If the printer is not listed it needs to be installed on the computer.
