This is a 5 cd changer system. When I have a CD and try to insert another cd in a different tray, the cd's keep getting stuck and I find that I need to open it to get the cd's out. How do I fix the cd changing mechanism.
It had to happen.... Af6ter having worked on more than 50 of these kinds of mechs i can definitely say they get old fast! What you will need to do is realign the cd changer if you are willing to put about 4 hours work into this then let me know and i will see if i can hunt down the realignment manual for you.

There may, or, may not be a small pinhole in the front panel of the changer. If it does have this hole, take a paper clip and insert it straight into the hole and this will enable manual ejection of the disk tray. If the hole is not there than the housing has to be removed to gain acess to the disks. Thank you, Dana
After some time it was showing some C 31 00 error. I searched on internet, opened the top cover, there is the CD changer and my cd was stuck in there, I pushed the CD from finger and there it goes... on press of eject it came out... thanks anyway...
Hi, I have a Panasonic SA-ak25 system. I played one cd then inserted a second. When the second cd had finished it ejected but the first cd is still in the player, When i try to eject it the lights start to flash and it always stops on no (4) can anybody help. Bob.
possible tray stuck, will cause this problem, if you can get the case off, 2 screws on the bottom and 4 or 5 on the back case , if it is jammed the unit will not initialize..I am talking from experience with model and simular models ..I have repaired alot
does it then say no cds?
does it try and load the tray?
sounds like it is not reconising that any cds are inserted, could be the laser, faulty or the tray is not reaching the tray in/loaded switch.
not worked on many jvc units, so it a bit of guess work
It sounds like you have put a disc in the tray that the system can not read, so it will just keep trying to read the disc over and over again. If you turn everything off by the plug and wait a few mins the whole system should stop. Put the plug back in and as soon as you turn your system on, try and press the disc open key before the lens gets a chance to start reading it again.
If this does not work you may just have a disc jammed. So you will have to get someone to check it out for you if you do not understand what you will be doing, because you may do more harm than good to your system.
