Aux input problem

I have an Alpine XMA-T200RF controller hooked to a TUA-T020XM satellite radio recieiver. It has a Aux input where I have an AI-Net to RCA female right/left audio adapter connected. On my MP3 player, I have a mini headphone jack to RCA Male adpter connected to the AI-net. Then on the control unit, I have Aux set to ON. However, I get no audio from my mp3 through the reciever. The satellite works just fine. I do not have the manual for the XMA-T200RF, but did find a page for the TUA. This is all hooked to the factory radio in my 2000 Honda Prelude. Any help would be appreciated. Harry

This unit should recognize the connection between the deck and the changer without any problems. Are you sure the plug is compatible with alpine unit?

I have my cd changer (alpine) plugged into the input port via ai net cable and I have the output going to the alpine radio (cda 9886) via ai net cable. When I hit the source button everything comes up but...

One thing to verify is that the Ai-Net switch at the bottom of the radio is set to Norm and not the EQ position. And also gray Ai-Net connectors are for audio input and the black Ai-Net connectors are for audio output. It sounds like you have everything connected correctly and at least the Sirius is coming up. And I assume that the CD changer works when connected directly to the reciever so you know that it is working. I would suspect that there might be a problem with the Sirius reciever not allowing the communication signal to connect to the Alpine deck and in that case you would need to get a new reciever. You could check the Alpine radio settings and see if there is something that needs to be changed in order to allow the CD changer to work. If you disconnected the battery connection to the radio then it might have reset the settings to factory default. Otherwise it sounds to me like the problem is with the Sirius reciever.

On my Alpine CDA 7892 i have the aux cables right for my iPod but i don't know how to swith it to the "aux" , just CD or Radio, How do you switch it to the "aux" imput in the back

I believe you need the Alpine KCA-410C - Ai-Net multi-changer/versatile link adapter before you can input from an external source directly.

XM Radio Receiver

Go to www.walmart.com and type in the search box XM Radio. Walmart carries a XM Docking Station that is capatable with most units. FYI though XM has merged with Sirrus so XXM will still work but will soon be unbuyable.

How do I add an Aux input?

Does your Alpine support the ALPINE AI NET adapter?

If so, this will work;

Otherwise, you might want to get an FM Transmitter;

The AUX RCA Output Where is it ?

you need to buy a AI net connetor that goes in the thing that looks like a CD changer connection. Then you should have an input, by the way you dont want an aux output if you want to hook up an iPOD you want an INPUT
