Question about iLO DVDR05 DVD Recorder
My iLO DVDR05 makes high pitched squeal during recording; it squeals for about one second and then stops for 1/2 second. It occurs in this sequence during the entire recording. It does not occur during playback. This recorder was given to me as a present; so it's either find a fix in this forum or throw it out. Any and all solutions are very welcome. Thank you!
Usually a problem like this has to do with d.c. power sypply problems. Because "record" uses a different supply voltage and maybe "subcirckit" [not the same dc voltage that you use for playback, etc] If you know HOW to look inside and if you know how to take voltage\current readings...check ALL capitors, the diodes(misspelled?)Replace any that are "swolened", they are bad Other then that, take it to tech who if he is a crock he will overcharge, and if he is honest will repair for a fair price..... " Rotosa Ruck " [lots of luck]
