Format error I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600
digital camera. When I put it on it tells me Access and after that there comes Format error. And I can not take any photos.
I have tried to format the card several times in a card reader and in the camera. Some times it was able to use but at the moment it is totally refusing.
The card was in the Cardreader connected to my computer PC using FAT 32. I saw another tip not to use Fat32 but simply Fat what do you think.Because it stated the FAt 32 somehow didn't work properly. There is also a chance that the card is a fake one.Because the camera was used when I bought it.The card was in the Cardreader connected to my computer PC using FAT 32. Try to use your card in another camera.
When you say you tried to format it through a card readr, do you mean that the card reader was connected to your PC?
I don't think that changing format to Fat will solve your problem, but you can try it.I don't think that changing format to Fat will solve your problem, but you can try it.

Hi! Yes, power buttons do break on these cameras. Contact your local Sony service center and see how much will it cost to replace the top panel. If they ask too much, feel free to contact me at [email protected] I work in a Sony service center.
Before buying a new memory card, try to use your card in another camera.
