Uniden phone XDECT SSE47 When setting date & time for daylight saving time screen reverts to standard time after a call is made. How do I stop this reversion?

Do you have the time adjustment set to Caller ID? If so, the time is being reset when your phone connects to the telephone company computer. To set this see the Advanced Setup options. Make sure that the phone system is in standby when you press the Menu/OK button to access the menu system. See page 17 of the manual for the information on the Advanced Setup options. The manual is available here: https://uniden.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SSE_47_OM.pdf .

I hope this helps. My guess is your telephone provider either hasn't updated their clocks or otherwise is giving faulty time information.

Have a Whirlpool over-stove microwave. Can set time but then it scrolls between AM & PM. Cannot find how to set the AM/PM portion, and completing the time set.

Which microwave model do you have? Most of the Whirlpool microwaves that I know only have a 12-hour clock. They do not indicate AM or PM. To set the ones that I know, press Clock. Type in the current time in a 12-hour format. Press Clock again. The only model that I find quickly that has an AM/PM option is the GH7208XR. On that model, start with the main menu displayed on the LCD screen. Touch Settings and Info. Next press Clock. Then press Adjust Time. Follow the instructions to set the time and the AM/PM setting. I'll assume you use the +/- buttons. To hide the clock, get to the Clock Screen. Press Adjust Time and Hide Clock to return to the main menu. See these two pages of the manual for this model: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/190817/Whirlpool-Gh7208xr.html?page=9#manual and https://www.manualslib.com/manual/190817/Whirlpool-Gh7208xr.html?page=12#manual

Current Whirlpool over-the-range models sold in the US are listed here: https://www.whirlpool.com/kitchen/cooking/microwaves/over-the-range.html . Other Whirlpool appliance manuals are available from the Owner Support page: https://www.whirlpool.com/services/manuals.html.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number for a more accurate information on setting the clock. The model number should be inside the microwave on the rim. Usually it's on the bottom of the door frame near the door hinge.

I have a Panasonic Telephone KX-TGCA21. How to reset the Date and Time

The handset is KX-TGCA21. This handset communicates with the Panasonic KX-TG403SK or the KX-TG433SK phone systems.

To set the date and time, press Menu (the right hand soft-key below the LCD screen) on one of the handsets when the system is in standby (no calls on any handset). Then press # 1 0 1 . Type the current date (month, day, year) using two digits for each. So today would be 06 15 18. Press OK, again the soft-key. Then type in the current time, again with 2 digits for the hour and for the minutes. Use a 12-hour clock if the phone is set for English. In this case, press * to select AM or PM. If your system is set for Spanish language menus, use a 24-hour clock. Press Save (with the appropriate soft-key). Then press Off to exit the menu system.

If you want to navigate through the menu without typing # 1 0 1, choose Initial Settings, press Select. Then choose Set Date and Time. Press Select. Finally choose Date and Time and press Select again. Enter the date and time as above.

The first method to set the date and time is given on page 13 of the manual. The second is shown in the menu tree on page 22. The manual is available from Panasonic here: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg403_en_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

• When the clock is not set or you set the clock
manually, the time zone setting is not available.
