Ricoh Aficio MP C1500SP - functional error SC202

Printer stop to print in black color.After replacing black cartridge I have got message error : ERROR SC202 ...FUNCTIONAL ERROR Is there any Ricoh manual with service codes explained? Thanks

I have the same problem, but this is sadly enough not the first time, nor the last, I suppose... I think it's been a year since I got it, and it has shown an error at least 5 times! It takes a week every time I call for service... Why can't they make an online help-site??

How do you override the "Replace Print Cartridge" message on a Ricoh Aficio C320DN color laser printer? The printer has stopped printing but there is clearly still toner left if the cartridges.

Call ricoh serviceman he/she can fix it.
Defective tank full sensor
• Tank full lever bent or broken
• Incorrect ink suction
1. Check the harness of the tank full sensor.
2. Replace the GJ engine.
3. Replace the maintenance unit.

• The position of the tank full lever
does not stay at the tank full position
after ink initialization or air releasing.
• The position of the tank full lever is
not detected at ink suction.

Ricoh Aficio MP 171 printer print, is clear. Everything is clear when I print on this printer, but after 8 or 9 copies, a print message is coming, 'restart due to functional error'.

Try doing a reset on it. If that doesn't work, take it to a Ricoh Service Centre.

I have a Ricoh MP C2500 and it shows SC202 error How do I fix this

Replace your polygon mirror motor or complete laser unit if you have one available. Replace this a.s.a.p as it can cause your BICU to pop. If your machine is already dead and you picked the code up on the web browser you need to replace the BICU as well. Do not replace the BICU without replacing the polygon motor. If you do you will pop the BICU again.

It's a fuser overheat error enter service mode to clear, if it comes back service call ( push in sequence clear modes(yellow) 1 0 7 hold down stop for 5 or so seconds, screen will change, power down, red switch. -Carl
