Hi Christina,
If you have NMTI connections on the FRE, first you need to disconnect the frame relay path, this has to be done by logging into the FRE and disconnect it using the DLCI number of the path, once all the paths has been disconnected you can then log into the 3600 node and disconnect the Frame Relay link. After all is cleared you can create the new link and paths again

Hi Christina,

The problem come up or happened because the link (E1/T1...) problem or 3600 series going down e.g power down etc. The effect of it sometimes influenced the circuits mainly the circuits made by nmti software via hyperterminal, 4601A even 5620 NM (integrated NMTI).

To solve the problem first you have to clear or de-configure the configuration/cross-connect via nmti and than you connect again the circuits. Please using Alcatel 5620 NM GUI to make cross-connection or circuits (Circuits Switch Data).

Regards,

jhadori

What is an Ec2 error code on a Me. Coffee

Oddly, I don't find any explanation for this error code on the web. I do find a support page with contact numbers, a rather mumbly video by a person needing coffee suggesting one thing to try, and several troubleshooting pages posted. It is helpful to know what the model number is. So, here we go and good luck: https://www.mrcoffee.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-mrcoffee-Site/default/Support-Show

What's the next steps to repair p0480 code on my 2008 chevy malibu?

DTC P0480: Cooling Fan Relay 1 Control Circuit.

Circuit/System Description
The engine control module (ECM) commands the fans ON in high speed or low speed. In low speed, the fans are configured in series. In high speed, the fans are configured in parallel.
In low speed operation, the ECM applies ground to the coil side of the low speed fan relay, which is the cool/fan 1 relay 28. Voltage is applied directly to the left cooling fan through the switch side of the low speed fan relay. The right fan is connected in series to the left fan through the series/parallel relay, which is cool/fan SER/PAR relay 29, so that both fans operate at low speed.
In high speed operation, the ECM applies a ground to the coil side of the low speed fan relay, the series/parallel relay, and the high speed fan relay, which is the cool/fan 2 relay 30. Voltage is applied directly to the right cooling fan through the switch side of the high speed fan relay. The left cooling fan obtains voltage through the low speed fan relay and ground through the series/parallel relay.
When the ECM is commanding a fan relay ON, the voltage of the control circuit should be low, near 0 volts. When the ECM is commanding a fan relay OFF, the voltage of the control circuit should be high, near battery voltage.

Circuit/System Verification
Verify with a scan tool that the ECM is not commanding fan relay activation.
Ignition ON, command each relay ON and OFF with a scan tool. Feel or listen to verify that each relay turns ON and OFF with each command.
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Circuit/System Testing
Ignition OFF, disconnect the series/parallel relay, which is cool/fan SER/PAR relay 29.
Connect a 30A fused jumper between the normally-open switch contact terminals 30 and 87 the series/parallel relay connector in order to complete the fan ground circuit. Leave this jumper in place for the remainder of this procedure.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the affected relay.
Verify that a test lamp does not illuminate between B+ and the affected relay control circuit terminal 85.
Remove the test lamp.
Command the affected relay ON with a scan tool. Verify the scan tool Relay Control Ckt. Short Volts Test Status Parameter is OK.
? If not the specified value, test the control circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Install a 3A fused jumper wire between the control circuit terminal 85 and B+. Command the affected relay ON with a scan tool. Verify the scan tool Relay Control Ckt Short Volts Test Status Parameter is Fault.
? If not the specified value, test the control circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
Remove the 3A fused jumper wire.
Connect a 30A fused jumper between the positive voltage terminal at the battery and the fan voltage supply circuit terminal at the affected relay connector and verify fan activation.
Ignition ON, connect a 30A fused jumper between the relay switch voltage supply circuit terminal 30 and the fan voltage supply circuit terminal 87 at the affected relay connector and verify fan activation.
? If the fan does not activate, test the affected relay switch voltage supply circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and its fuse is open, test all connected components and replace as necessary.
Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the affected relay coil voltage supply circuit terminal 86 and ground.
? If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the affected relay coil voltage supply circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and its fuse is open, test all connected components and replace as necessary.
If all circuits and the ECM test normal, replace the affected relay.

Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop that knows how to test an not guess .

Communication port is not working properly

COM1 and COM2 refer to a computer's communications, or serial, ports. COM1 ports are often used on older PCs to connect network devices, digital cameras and mice. Faulty drivers software that enables the hardware to communicate with the operating system or incorrect hardware configuration can influence COM1 behavior. In rare cases, the expansion card that adds the serial ports to the PC can fail, rendering both COM1 and COM2 ports useless. To repair a COM1 port, you must determine what is preventing the port from working before attempting a solution.

Click "Start." Go to "Control Panel" and then click "Hardware & Sound." Select "Device Manager" from the submenu. Expand "Ports (COM & LPT)." Double-click "COM1." Review Device Status on the General tab to check for problems with the software driver. If the message "The Device Is Working Properly" appears, click "OK" to close the window; otherwise, look up the error message on Microsoft Support. Follow the directions in the Knowledge Base to correct the issue. Press "Alt" and "V" to open View. Scroll to "Resources by Type." Press "Enter." Double-click "Interrupt Request (IRQ)" to see a list of devices. Double-click "Communications Port (COM1)." Check the term to the left of COM1 to see if the card uses an ISA or PCI interface. If the card uses a PCI interface, it can use the same IRQ as another PCI device without producing a hardware conflict. If the device is ISA, it needs its own IRQ. Go to the "Resources" tab. If "No Conflicts" appears in the Conflicting Device List, close the window; otherwise, uncheck "Use Automatic Settings." Click the drop-down menu and select each configuration until the port no longer interferes with another device. If conflicts occur with each configuration, double-click "IRQ"; you may need to try different configurations before Windows gives you permission to edit the interrupt request. Click the up or down arrow to change the IRQ until the message "No Devices Are Conflicting" appears in the Conflict Information field. Click "OK" to close each window. Click "Yes" when prompted. Connect a device to the COM1 port to test the port. If the device doesn't respond, shut down the computer and then unplug the power cable. Disconnect all devices from the back of the PC. Remove the case cover and touch the computer's chassis. Set the computer on its side so that the PCI and ISA cards sit at a 90-degree angle to the floor. Find the serial ports on the back of the PC. Look on the opposite side of the case to find the associated card. Shine a flashlight onto the card and make sure that the copper contacts are not visible. If you can see the contacts, reseat the card in its slot so that it's fully installed to the motherboard. Reassemble the case and boot into Windows to test the COM1 port. If the port still fails to work, you may need to replace the serial port card.

1999 dodge caravan. engine cooling fan is not turning off

The relay has failed in teh "on" position. This is a weak lilnk in the Chrysler colling system. I replaced mine for the same problem. It ran my battery down.
It is located under the battery on the frame rail. You have to remover the batter, then the battery tryan and look straight down - you will see it on the frame rail. Over heating was the suspected cause, so make sure you use a hdeat transfer gel under the new relay with you attach it to the frame rail.

Mouse not working..pls help

i guess it is due to conflicting Com ports resources. you can try the following to resolve the problem. i am assuming you have a serial mouse connected to com port

1. remove any devices marked under device manager with yellow exclamation mark or question mark. reboot the system

2. when the system has restarted let the windows install any new devices it has found. after that.... go to device manager right click on com port to which mouse is connected

a) click on port settings tab and click restore defaults.
b) see if windows is reporting any resource conflicts under resources tab.

do you have any other device that is attached to any other com port ? if yes it may be causing resource conflict problems. to solve that click set configuration manually and deselect automatic settings and select different configuration in "settings based on" . this should resolve resource conflicts if any.

I hope this helps solve your problem
