Question about Philips 51PW9303 51" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I was watching my tv then it suddenly turn black. Before it turned black, there was a noise that sounded almost like a light bulb burnt out or touching two live electric wires together. I opened the back of the TV and saw that the bottom of two picture tube (heating elements??) were glowing but not the middle one. I saw no sign of burn tube, i.e. there was no black smoke or any sign of damage to the middle tube. Please help!!! I am a newbie with these things. How do I fix this problem? Where do I get the correct parts? How do I replaced the parts once I obtain it? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
To be honest if you have never worked on a set I would reather you contact a tech in your area. You can do more damage that it may already have by being a fierst timer or having no experience.

Replace the Sanyo I.C. chip on the heat sink of the power supply convergence board STK730-XXX. Last 3 could be 130/010/020, any will work.
