So do we have to break the glass manually? or is there a spcial way to remove the glass to replace it?
Hi Pearl I just repaired my LG and it went exactly as you said. Good as new ! You are such a sweety . Regards Keith
Hi suec64 as i've already explained i have already changed mine and didnt need any screwdrivers. is anyone else brave enough to try this method or do we all want to run out and start buying screwdrivers to take of a mirror screen that is simply glued on lol regards pearl
Hi way to replace glass screen. run your finger nail under the existing screen its just glued on there, then simply replace with new screen there should be enough glue on phone to hold new screen in place. worked a treat for mine regards Pearl
I hear that you will need to remove the existing screen - possible by breaking it then gkue the new one in place! BUT I have not tried this on mine yet as I would like to hear from someone who has actually suceeded in replacing one. I will post on here if I get a confirmed method . Please let me know if you hear more. Regards

Don't think i'll try breaking it. There are screws behind the battery but once removing them the screen did not detach.
If i can remove the screen as it's glued on, then why when purchasing a new glass screen do they state you also need screwdrivers t10 and t6. Thanks for your input though i'm still left dubious as to whether doing this will knacker my phone altogether.
You can buy the glass screen on ebay for 99p or you can mail phone for the glass to be replaced for £19.99. This is also on ebay
