My Xante CL30 HSE will not print reversed out text i.e a blue background with white text without it looking fuzzy, terrible and all over the place. In fact the text can be unreadable. This printer is supposed to print on heavy stock up to 330gsm but its register is terrible. Anyone know a fix to get this printer to print accurate 4 colour registration?
Make sure the drums are properly seated in their cradels, and if posible, avoid designing with white small text in heavy solid areas that are made up of process colours. For reverse type in a black background, use spot color black rather than rich black. Other than than printing on a not as heavy card, that is about all you can do.

it's not easy to describe it. The fuser fan cover has some screws, remove them and then remove the fan, it's a little tricky. From my experience, the new fan has small cables. What i did is to cut the cables of the old fan and attach them to the cables of the new one. My suggestion is if you don't feel confident, leave to a more experienced technician.
If the printer is still under warranty, and a new yellow drum doesn't fix the problem, or if you install a new drum and the problem returns, Xante should provide you with warranty support. This problem can be caused by a defective high voltage power supply, and that is not a user replaceable item.
