Hello,
I am hoping someone can provide some assistance. I have a SONY TRV22E and it will play back videos but when I set it to Camera mode to do filming - The LCD is all Black and I cant see through the eye sight too. I have all the menu functions but not cant see what I am aiming my camera at (and yes I do have the lens cap off :-))
If you can provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated

Re:
First check the iris of the camera if it is opening, you will see this when you look inside the lens of the camera when you turn on and off the switch at camera mode if the iris is opening....if the iris is ok the second problem may occurs of your camera is the ccd image sensor...

Hi,
I called Sony support center in Sweden (my home country). They told me that it's probably a failure in CCD-ship. In such a case, Sony takes the fully responsibility and will repair it without any fee. You only need to pay for one way mail transport.
