If the DVD tray has been pulled out completely or manually pulled out too far and it will not retract on its own then the DVD drive is damaged and needs to be replaced. Although the DVD drive itself probably is a standard drive, on TV/DVD combo units the drive is difficult to replace and should be done by a qualified service technician or by a manufacturer authorized service facility.
Look on the front of the tray where the eject button is There should be a
small round hole, this is for ejecting a stuck disk. Just open out a
paper clip and insert in to the hole and press until the tray opens.

Ok, the paper jam ERROR could be due to one of the following:
Check for paper in the paper tray
Check the size of the paper in the paper tray to see if it is the same as what the printer is set for.
Debris in the paper path
Gears not turning or broken gear
Defective paper tray
Broken input sensor flag
Defective input sensor board
Defective system cable 2
Defective system board
Exit Sensor flag (Fuser)
Exit Sensor board (Fuser)
System cable 1
If there is no bit of paper or
debris stuck in the rollers, it would indicate something more serious,
and in need of servicing. If your machine is under warranty, I suggest
you take it back to the shop and get it replaced or repaired under warranty. If your warranty
has run out, then you'll either have to get it serviced or buy a new
printer (whichever works out cheaper for you)
There is a good possibility that the switch under the button has failed, especially if this drive has been used a lot. An electronics technician could replace the defective switch, but unless you have a good friend in that business, it will probably be cheaper to replace the drive with a new one.
