Here we have a Sony Bravia 46 inch LCD 1080 p. the power light just blinks. Will not turn on tv or can not turn off the power light unless I unplug the tv. What could be the problem
Switch ON the TV, at least two times, and make sure about how many times do this front LED blinks, at one time switch ON. These blinks are fault indications. From the number of blinks occur, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside the TV. If you wish to know more about the blinking codes and other details http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ try this link. Pull up older posts there by its left side bar. Blinking codes to many brand TVs are given in detail.

Connect your iPod to your TV with a DIY cable
The iPod A/V Cable is stylish and handy, but you may feel it's not worth the money; the Belkin cable gives you twice the value per foot but costs the same overall. For a less expensive alternative, find a standard A/V cable with three RCA plugs at one end (coded red, white, and yellow) and a 1/8-inch A/V plug with three bands at the other end.
To set up your iPod for playback, plug the 1/8-inch connector into your iPod's headphone port, and then plug the yellow, white, and red RCA connectors into the RCA jacks on your TV in this non-color-coded way:

Called Sony they walked me thru some steps unplug tv cord for five min as jov told me to do on here. Which I'm grateful thx. 2 is unplug everything hooked to tv cable ps3 360 whatever unplug for 5 min with remote push the up arrow hold it down and while holding it press the power button on the
Remote while turning on the tv with the power button on the tv. If that doesn't work your tv needs a tech. Well sad to say I need a tech. Thx figured I'd let ya know incase of anything
O 3rd step was unplug for one min while tv is unplugged hold the power button down for 30 seconds then wait 1 min plug tv back in and try the power button. Once again none of this worked for me.
