Blank printout My Canon MP730 printer produced blank printouts for both printing and copying. The machine worked fine before. I've replaced new ink tanks (black and colors) and also tried the maintenance functions to cleaning nozzle heads, but no success. The scanning funtion is OK. Please let me know what else can I do. Thank you in advance.

HI guys i have a HP Laserjet M1522nf when i send a print command all the printouts comes out as blank & copy also same blank. please help

You haven't said when was the last time your printer was used.

Ink printers must be used on a regular basis or the ink in the jets dries and the jets plug up.

Recently bought a kodak 3250, and had to renew the ink cartridges. i did this twice and still cannot get printer to print any documents. as far as printing pictures is concerned the printout seems to come...

itcould be the coagulation of ink in between the cartridge better dip it in mildhot water for some times and replace it wiping the water . it would do thetrick and solve your problem . it has been practically tested.

If this solution helpful/useful for you please rate my solution. THANKS FORUSING FIXYA

I have a Canon FC244 copier. The paper jammed and I have found a long plate with 2 springs attached loose inside. I cannot see where this should be fixed.

Hi Canon copiers are among the most common photocopying machines available on the market. They are known for their affordability and delivery of quality photocopies of printed pages, and because of this, they have been used in various business and office establishments. Like most copiers, Canon copiers also have their own setbacks and issues, but these can be fixed easily once they are properly diagnosed.
Issues.Among the most prominent issues with Canon copiers is when the machine produces either full black or white copies. Most users tend to think that the problem lies with an empty ink or toner. If that were the case, however, then they would still receive copies, but the prints would either have unnecessary lines or blurry images. When the copier produces plain white or all black printouts, the problem has to do with internal parts of the copier. Causes. The causes of the production of black or white printouts can be traced to one of two roots: broken corona wires or faulty circuit boards. If the copier has an erratic circuit board, it not only produces all-black copies, it also has a misplaced light/dark slider that has to be manually adjusted in order to produce quality prints. Diagnostics. You can troubleshoot the problems concerning Canon copiers by doing a quick check to see where the problem lies. If you are experiencing intermittent black printouts, see if the bias lamps turn on during printing. These consist of small lamps at the bottom part of the copier drum, where the transfer corona is. The lamps should be not be lit whenever continuous black copies are produced. Faulty circuit boards, meanwhile, can be diagnosed when you have to slam the top-down cover of the machine in order to produce quality, and not blank prints.

Blank printout

If you are able to drag out your users manual, most lazer printers have a self cleaning process for the head, which takes around 3-5 minutes to complete, after that try to run a test page to ensure the colors are working fine.

Failing that, unless the printer is brand new, and or unless it has been sitting ( unused - regardless of age ) the print heads can dry out leaving a blockage ... hence, no ink, hence blank page.

The only other suggestion after running a Print head clean, would be to replace or refill the ink cartridges.
