SOURCE: When I turn the printer
The b8142b84 error isn't documented by HP, but you should check your voltage to the printer. Move the printer to another room and plug it in to see if you still get the "turn printer on/off" message. If printer power up fine in another room, you have a bad outlet, or surge protector at its original location.

Try to find anything that prevents the printer form moving the paper or print head. If everything is fine try reinstalling the printer driver.
If that does'nt work... get your printer serviced.
