Hi I bought this Panasonic colour T.V. second hand but their wasn't a Manuel to show how to set the channels on the T.V.. The model # is TZ-20L3Z. I know that it is a fairly old T.V. but it works very well. Can you give me a little guidance on how to set the channels up.
Cheers from N.Z.

the TV may require an special antenna for the unit or the unit is set for cable operation
TV units have buttons on the side or near the side where initial settings can be obtained without the remote
remove the antenna cable and see if that indicates an aerial problem If you go to some shops they have a geek on hand that can show you how to fix on a shop demo unit and what you will need
is this from new or secondhand. as new its should have setting in ipaddress tv setting. second hand then you need the system rest, back to factory setting. make sure the ether cable is out when doing this. after doing this and tv is up and running a gain go on to the panasonic apps and look for updates. ( ether cable pluged in)
A new bulb may just be showing up a problem that wasn't apparent with the lower brightness coming from an old bulb. Try putting the old bulb back in and look very carefully and see if the problem is still there. If the green is uniform over the whole screen then it may be fixed by setting a colour level change in the menu. If it varies over the screen then it is probably a polarizer affected by age and heating.
was this bought new or second hand?
There is a "Lamp Time" setting that can be accessd using your remote control, check this setting.
Look on page 40 and after that of your manual about ambient temperature bulb failure.
By powering off or hittign the reset button the bulb should stay on IF the projector is gettign a signal from a device to show an image. If the projector is not hooked up to a device, laptop, TV, etc. the bulb may turn off to save hours of operation.
At most that I can give you is a generic procedure but should work also in your unit other than the names/terms would probably be a tad different.
Using your remote, press menu, select setup. You may have to select whether you are using cable or aerial. Aerial antenna could be name Air or Std. Normally there would be a search function or add channels or memory + or something like that. Am not sure but you may have a save butoon also but not always.
Hope this gives you some idea. Pls post back how things are or if you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
