Trying to open ports

You will need to setup Ports 5631 and 5632 to forward to the IP of the computer with PC anywhere installed on it. You need to go into the Virtual Server section to setup the port forwarding.

How to set 5631 tcp and 5632 udp

You need to access the router via a web browser. Standard addresses are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
If neither work, you need to go to start>run> type in "cmd" then OK. Once you get command prompt up, type in ipconfig (Then enter). The Default gateway is the address to your routers configuration page.

Once you get in go to/find virtual servers and and the ports in there. for the ip set it to your computers local ip, you can find it in run>cmd >ipconfig thing i told you earlier. It would be under IP Address

Can we connct furuno gp31 to pc

Hello!
Yes, the GP31 can connect to a PC.  With the wiring harness, it has an RS-232 port, which allows it to connect to most PCs, laptops, and even most palmtop systems.
Hope this helps you out,

Found the check box - for Block WAN

I believe your initial problem was for PCAnywhere rgiht? just make sure ports 5631 (Data Port or TCP) and 5632(Status port or UDP) is properly opened/forwarded on your router's config page plus make sure that you instruct the router to forward those ports to the computer that you have PCAnywhere plus I have read some articles that newer versions of PCAnywhere 10.+ 11.+ will not work with older version 5.+

Now if it still doesn't work try setting up DMZ for you host computer(Note: enabling DMZ will open a wide range of ports, well common ports that is).

PcAnywhere 12.0 System Builder Edition

Hello,

PcAnywhere 12.0 is not compatible with Windows Vista. PcAnywhere 12.1 is. You can find it here: http://www.symantec.com/business/products/purchasing.jsp?pcid=2247&pvid=840_1

Whether or not you are entitled to a complimentary update is unclear, although generally speaking users are normally entitled to updates as long as the version remains the same. (So in this case, because the new version is 12.1, you are likely entitled to the update, whereas if the new version was 13.0 you would be more likely out of luck.)

I would recommend using the "Live Chat with online sales" option at the URL I provided to clarify your licensing questions.

CyberXLink CXL-EBR-W router - can't open ports 5631/5632 for pcAnywhere

Hi dave, I'm not familiar with that router at all and I didn't find any doc's online for it so I'm running blind here but... If the router has it make sure "Block WAN Request" is disabled or you won't get anywhere. Also I don't know if the print server has anything to do with your problem. Have you tried mapping those ports directly to the host in the router? TCP PCanywhere port 5631 Inbound 192.168.1.[host IP] port 5631 UDP PCanywhere port 5632 Inbound 192.168.1.[host IP] port 5632 I'm also assuming that you're using a static IP on the host. You don't want to use a dynamic IP. Hope this helps. Let me know how you make out, Duder

Trouble with PCAnywhere locking the port

Ok ensure that nothing has changed.. Check the Firewall setting, at BOTH ends, to ensure that the "Port" is Passed thru.. also check to make sure the address's used by PCanywhere are the same at both ends. Perhaps the port ya been using has become "Blocked" somehow? OR some setting have been changed.. carefully check it all out. GL
