Blank Screen Phone has been working fine. Suddenly there is nothing on the screen. I have tried charging it but doesn't do a thing. Only 3 months old. Does it tell you anywhere if the battery is dead, charger isn't working, etc. Thanks. P.S. Was just messing around with the charger - it has a rattle in it - what is that about?

Sounds like the charger's defective. Did it get dropped accidentally? Take both the phone and the charger back where you got it. They should fix the problem for you. Battery in the phone is probably dead and just needs charging.

can u hear any sound like nokia tune which comes when u turn on your mobile? It could be because your display is damaged or not working so please visit nokia showroom and they will help you.

There can be several things which can be reason for blank screen like:
1. Your display is not working
2. Battery of mobile is not working.
3. May your mobile is not charged and charger which you are using is not working. Try charging with some other charger of nokia same pin.
4. It could be software issue. Please update software in your mobile.

60% it could be a display issue.

The only thing you can do is to check if the flex board between the screen and the video IC is bad. However I would advise you to send it in for repairs.

Motorola Razr v3 stuck in mute mode. Finally find mute switch during a call, turn it off , says mute off with green arrow and then it reverts back to mute! No idea how phone got stuck on mute!
