Question about Kenmore 24 in. 15079 Built-in Dishwasher

Clean light comes on my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model # 665.17263. This happened once before and has to do with the heating element. The service guy showed me how to press the buttons in a certain sequence to "unstick" the unit and it worked fine. The Quick Rinse light keeps flashing. When I push a previous sequence recommendation it switched to pots n pans and Quick Rinse and Cancel all started blinking. Then in about 2 minutes went back to Quick rinse. I did one sequence and it started to drain but did not start.

Hi

Push the NORMAL WASH then HEATED DRY buttons alternatively two to three times. Press the CANCEL button to clear the fault .

The control lock is likely ON or the control panel has stuck key pad.To unlock the control: Press and hold the NO HEAT DRY button until the lock light turns OFF.
If the "Lock On" light continues to blink with out pushing any buttons the likely failure is a stuck button.

better to turn off circuit breaker off to your dishwasher, unplug the unit for an hour and start it again.

Clean light flashing
This is a communication error between the control and motor. Try resetting the control by pressing the following keys with in 5 seconds.

HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL

after about 15 seconds hit cancel then the control should be unlocked. If the problem comes back the problem is most likely with the motor for the pump. Check with your warranty, some of these Kenmore models may be under warranty

Push the Heated Dry then the SaniWash buttons. Do this three repeatedly until the whole panel lights up and then close the door. You should be good to go!

press (high temp-wash) button and then ( heated dry)
do that 3 times in that order within 5 seconds. So it looks like this:

(high temp-wash) ( heated dry) (high temp-wash) ( heated dry) (high temp-wash) ( heated dry)

That will start a short diagnostic cycle (last about 2 minutes) that will clear the blinking light and allow you to use the dishwasher. If the light comes back, your drying cycle has failed and you will need service.

Why won't my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher won't turn on? I ran it last night, but it did not drain all of the water out. This morning it will not even turn on. None of the buttons light up and I have no idea what is wrong with it. Any ideas? We have already checked the fuse and that seems to be fine.
