I have a Hayward h250 heater and the keypad does not work won't turn on, should I replace it or is it a bigger problem then the key pad. Everything else works fine but the keypad has now power to it what does this mean.

In some heaters you can lock the key pad to prevent other person to change their temperature settings,if that is not you case( REPLACED) but before check the instruction MANUAL.

SOURCE: heater temperature control buttons

The board is bad. The part number is IDXLCPA1930. Expect about a $400 replacement cost.

SOURCE: Drain gas heater for winter

On the side of the heater, you will see the water connections. Directly underneath them, on that black component that they attach to, there is a drain plug of some description. It may be a draincock, or just a plug. In either case, simply open or remove it to safely drain your heater. In a pinch, you could also disconnect the water connections at those unions (the big grey connectors), but they can be fussy to reassemble, and you run the risk of losing the o-rings.

Sounds like it could be the flame sensor.

SOURCE: Hayward H250K gas pool heater error code

Low Flow errors are not necessarily real. They can be caused by improper adjustment or a defect of the pressure switch. Locate the pressure switch. Verify that the "switch" makes contact. Adjust the dial, reducing the distance the switch has to travel to engage. This will effectively lower the operating pressure required to operate. Keep adjusting until the unit stays on.

My hayward pool heater gives me a code sb what part is this

Possibly failed keypad, or stuck key on keypad.
This product should be under full warranty, and installer should be called.
Hayward 350 product manual: Error codes start page 38 do not show Sb
http://www.hayward-pool.com/pdf/manuals/Manual285.pdf
However Sb error code shows on following manual as 'Keypad failure' or 'stuck key'... one of the keys is stuck longer than 30 seconds, but control will still function, replace keypad.
