How do I access the call log in this phone? Nokia M7310

Trying to retrieve a phone number on our Nokia M7310. I don't think we had a call log programmed. Does the phone log incoming calls automatically and if so, is there a way to retrieve?

No, they are not turned on by default. They have to be programmed in system programming. Once they are programmed, a soft key will show CALLS. Pressing this soft key will display the log.

SOURCE: Programming a phone to pick up calls

I need more information. When calls come in, does the triangles appear on the phones you want to pick up? Do you have all the lines on the phones? Is sounds like you want only the "ringing sound" to happen on your phone, but have it appear on the others. Is this correct??

SOURCE: call forwarding for NorStar m7310

You have to know how to get into programming, and it depends on the type of telephone lines you have... if you have regular analog lines, on a out bound call transfer there is going to be line degragation. Meaning that the outgoing call is not going to be of the best quality.

Secondly, you have to see how many telephone lines you have, if you have 3 analog trunks, with a call forwarding to a cell phone, you will be using up 2 lines... 1 incoming and 1 outgoing to your cell. This leaves 1 trunk for incoming or outgoing callers.

SOURCE: Program a new Nortel m7310 phone with an existing extension

If the extension was a swap of the old M7310 with a new(ish) M7310 no additional programming should be necessary. However if the phone was replaced with another type of nortel set(M7208, M7324,T7313 etc.) then the phone will default to its base features. To re-program the feature keys press feature *3, the button you wish to program, and the feature code for that button

Is it possible to retrieve call logs that have been deleted on an old Nokia 3110 ?

I am not entirely familiar with this phone but I suspect that you are out of luck in so far as a direct approach is concerned. That being said, contacting customer service for your cell service provider should suffice. There is a record of every call made for the current billing period (I do not know how long after that the records are destroyed) and I do not expect you should have any trouble getting the list. Should you have a specific date, time, and recipient, I think they might even be able to give you the number over the phone after confirming your identity.
