You have a board power supply issue which would be covered under warranty. (Hopefully you still under warranty)

Error message E45 comes up on camera - What can I do to fix it? Kodak easyshare V610. Message comes up when camera turned on. Batttery charged etc.

Is the lens extended? If so, try hitting the lens a couple of times with the palm of your hand and then turning off the camera. Turn it back on and let me know what happens. Sounds crazy I know, but those things are notorious for that error and that problem. You can also try taking out the SD card and see if the error goes away. Let me know what happens. Thanks.

When i turn on my Kodak EasyShare C913 Digital Camera it makes a werid sound and turns itself off. whats making it do that? and how can i fix it?

It is probably your rechargeable batteries are not holding their charge and therefore the camera is not receiving enough power to start. The whirring would be the camera lense attempting to open. When it can't get enough power it will automatically shut off.

As a first step try removing the batteries and replacing them with completely new ones. Make sure they are fully charged.

If this doesn't sort the problem out it may be something more serious which would probably require a technician to look at it.

V610 KODAK ERROR E45

This problem is frequently due to weak/worn out batteries or corroded battery terminals inside the camera. If charging/replacing the batteries does not clear the problem, remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth (heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning. Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=6198

It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

Kodak Camera V610 easy share

Hi!
This is what I need you to try..
If you're using a 5v ac adapter to charge the camera's battery - please hook it to the camera WITHOUT THE BATTERY in it. The 5v ac adapter can be an alternative power supply.

Turn on the camera - check if it would do the same thing - like lighting up, making a noise (attempting to extend the lens) and closes. If it does, the camera needs to be sent in for repair.

visit www.kodak.com/go/itg to arrange repair

If you are using a photoframe dock2 or camera dock series 3 to recharge the camera's batt - use its 5v ac adapter. It will work with the cam. Make sure, the batt is not in it to check the cam's condition, isolating the possible interference of the battery.

If the camera works fine - when the AC adapter is attached, no battery in it - consider buying a new battery.

V610 is a very nice camera, but it was manufactured in 2006. If you have not replaced the battery yet, it might just need to be replaced. Even Li-ion rechargeable batteries wear out eventually - it can only last up to 300 charging cycles.

If you're using a batt that is less than a year old, the cam might just need to be sent in for service.

Kodak Easyshare Z760 orange light flashing

The flash does not charge separate from the rest of the camera. Try cleaning the flash sensor on the front of the camera or the flash led may be bad.

Secondly, this light functions as a flash sensor which is trying to tell you that you need to use a flash although you may have the flash manually turned off. looks like a bolt of lightning with a circle/slash through it.
