Lexmark z25 cant find driver for vista - tried the referal to driversplanet but it refers to lexmark's web site and no drivers for vista

Hi i have windows vista 64 bit and i cannot find a way to get my Lexmark Z25 to work. I'm desprate, HELP ME!

I have lost my CD for installing my printer lexmark z25 could you please give me a link for installing the software from the net?

Use the Vista pre-installed Lexmark Z22-32 ColorJet printer driver. If that does not work, use the Lexmark Z12 ColorJet printer driver, listed below the previous driver.

Yes, there is no driver from the Lexmark homepage, but Im sure there is a generic driver that you work for most of the lexmark printers for VISA.
I checked on some forums but I have no way to test it. Anyway if you want to check some solution try following this links from VISATHEAD site.

Lexmark Jetprimter Z25 driver for vista

Hey,

The lexmark drivers and software required for installing the printer is available at www.lexmark.com

Select Drivers & downloads then driver finder.

Type in your model x2350 for example

Select your windows version

Download the setup program.

1.Download software
2.Run the downloaded setup
3.Plugin the printer when asked
4.Done

ps. if there are no drivers listed for your operating system, then your printer is not supported by that system. A generic driver may work with windows vista.

Driver for Lexmark Z25 printer

Hi
According to the Lexmark site they don't seem to have a compatible driver yet.
If you go to this link, http://www.lexmark.com.au/lexmark/sequentialem/home/0,6959,239544855_1230010431_0_en,00.html you can contact them either by phone or email to ask about your specific printer and when they are likely to have a driver for you.

Thay may be able to suggest some other solution also.

Cant install my priner lexmark z25

I'm afraid you're out of luck. Your printer is so old that Lexmark didn't release a Vista driver for it.

Here is the driver page for the Z25. Notice in the OS selection box it stops with XP. So your only choice is to buy a new printer or go back to XP. The cheapest printer I could find on their site is the Z1300, which is only $29, less than the cost of one ink cartridge. There is a Vista driver available for it.

The printer hardware does not support vista, hence there no drivers for vista by lexmark .

Lexmark does not have Vista drivers for that printer.
