Oven is blowing out hot air

My brand new oven is blowing hot air our. It's not just the vent above the oven door. The hot air is coming out from underneath the oven door and ablove the pan drawer. Not too pleasant during this hot summer. Help!

Same problem, I think ours only blows out the vent but it does not do much for our kitchen in FLA in the summer.

The hot air is supposed to come out so you can heat other things. If the oven is loosing heat, try to see if vent has flap, or test the temp sensor

Hot microwave door handle

I always recommend that you use the vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove top to keep heat, steam, and grease out of the controls and door panels.

Hi newish oven, seems when all the ovens are off the fan is blowing cold air, any ideas?

cold air from the fan forced element area in the oven? or from the air vent just above the door? if its from the air vent then this is normal if your oven senses the outside cabinet is getting to hot it will bring on the fan and if its still to hot after u turn it off the fan will continue as its circuit doesnt run through the control knobbs meaning it wont turn off with the oven its controlled via a overload thermostat so the fan will remain on til it gets within its acceptable temp range and the thermostat will cut power to the fan, if it remains on for hours and hours or even days you will be looking at a new thermostat (cheap as dirt like only a few bucks) or worst case a controller

Do i need to ventilate my wall oven

No, all wall ovens have a built in cavity extractor fan. When the oven is turned on this fan operates and blows air from the oven cavity through a vent at the front of the oven, normally just above the door. This keeps the outer oven and cabinet cooled sufficiently.

When the oven is on cold air constanly comes out the vents over oven door. Never did that with ild oven. thanks

This is the oven cavity extractor fan. It removes all the hot air from the oven cavity and blows it out the front. When the oven is hot and you turn it off the fan will continue to work until the oven cavity cools down.

MY PILOT KEEPS BLOWING OUT BUT THERMOCOUPLE IS BRAND NEW I AM GETTING FRUSTRATED BECAUSE IT GOES OUT AND THEN I LIGHT IT AGAIN AND IT WORKS WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING.

Hi,

There can be a number of things causing that...
Is the oven vented? If so then is there a good cap on the pipe?? is the vent pipe high enough above the roof line?
Is there a draft diverter at the back of the oven where the pipe hooks on? A direct connection can cause this...
Is there a vent hood in the room that the oven is in??? Is there enough makeup air, or is the vent blower pulling air back down the stack?
Is the main burners "pulling" the pilot flame away from the thermocouple?
Is the "hood" on the pilot flame adjusted properly to keep the flame on the thermocouple?
Is the thermocouple positioned in the flame properly?
Is the thermocouple correctly tighten into the gas valve?

These questions are what I would be looking for if I was troubleshooting that appliance...

When baking lots of hot air blowing from top vent

It is a good thing that the heat blows out. Electric oven didnt have anywhere to vent so the cpu boards got hot and burned up. So to correct this problem there is a little fan that blow out the heat so the cpu board doesnt over heat. thats all.. no worries mate

Too hot

first thing is to check if it is front vented or rear vented, if it is front vented you will find warm air blowing out above the door. if not it is rear vented and must have a flu installed behind unit.
