There should be a button that says "input" if so try that a couple of times. Take the batteries out of the remote and unplug the TV for 30 seconds Hope it helps.

Dish network changed to snow when I tried to change station to channel 13. I pressed "power" for 5 seconds with no change.

Hi, Mary with Dish Network Customer Service here. It sounds like when you try to change channels with your remote, it is changing the channels on your TV and not your Satellite Receiver. In the top left corner of the Dish Network remote is an SAT button. When you try to change channels on the Satellite receiver this button should be lighting up. If the TV button lights up, it means the remote is working the TV. Press and release the "SAT" button after you have the picture back on the TV and it should work normally. I hope this resolves your remote issue!

I have a Sharp SPC502 atmoic clock/weather station. No matter what I do I cannot get the outside temp/humidy to show up on the main station. Have tried changing channels, different alignments,...

Try pushing the reset button on the inside of the battery compartment of the remote unit then push the reset button on the back of the main unit (you'll need a paperclip or tooth pick to push the buttons). If that fails I'd start from scratch by removing the batteries from both the remote unit and the main unit then replace the batteries to the remote unit first and push reset, then replace the batteries to the main unit and if necessary push the reset button on the main unit too. Hope this helps.

Channel buttons change input

Auto channel search is your friend. Once the tv has been through it and finds active channels, your channel button should work the way you envision.

My dish remote wont connect to the dish reciever

If you have a single mode receiver, you need to open the panel in front and push system info.
A channel number will appear near the bottom of the list of information... it may be between 1 and 15. Push the record button on your remote control. (the black button with the red dot). If the channel number changed, then your remote and receiver are not on the same channel. Assume your channel was #1. when you first pushed sys info. You need to program your remote to #1. On your remote, push the Sat button until all other top buttons light up. enter the digit 1 and then the # key. Press the record button 4 times. You have to make sure you have the correct color key inserted in the remote control. If you have a dual mode receiver, one remote key will be green, and the second channel remote will have a blue key. Go to the Dish network website tech portal ...Google will help you find it, for complete instructions from the horse's mouth.

Not being able to change inputs

Change the input setting on the tv not the remote.
If you are using a universal remote it may not be programmed correctly.
When you push the input button on the remote it is changing it to the Over The Air Antenna, it is not recieving a signal and there is no channel label added for the station it is set to.
If you do have an antenna connected, from the menu do a channel search and see if it can find any signal.

Let me know how it goes, I can assist further.
