You must press Utylity/Counter next open on screen admin setting. (Pass is 12345678) next network setting, IP setting and you can set IP address. Make sure the scanner usb and power leads are securely seated the drivers for the scanner might have been corrupted you might have to uninstall the scanner restart your computer then reinstall your scanner if your printer/scanner came with an installation disc the drivers could be on it you might have to uninstall the printer/scanner restart your computer then reinstall the printer/scanner and its drivers click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to ports(COM&LPT) + to expand you should see a communication port and Ecp printer port you might see a yellow Question/exclamation ? ! mark or a red X this will mean you need to install a new driver for this device right click to update driver select properties again you will have the similiar options also have option to troubleshoot hope this helps
Ya plug it up then turn it on. Go to start on task bar then to printers/scanners button and it will show up there. Right click on it and click properties. Then update driver. Let it automatic search online for it. If you cant find it there go to control panel/system/find the usb or printer connection right click and properties updte driver\
FIRST UNINSTALL YOUR PRINTER COMPLETELY REMOVE ALL CABLES OF PRINTER (USB) REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM HAVE DRIVER CD PUT IT IN ROM(CD/DVD) INSTALL PRINTER SOFTWARE DONOT PLUG THE USB CABLE UNLESS & UNTILL PROMPTED PLUG USB WHEN ASKED FINISH INSTALLING PRINTER NOW YOU CAN FIND THE SCANNER
