Hope someone can help asap. I have been running, operating, and fixing when needed a Gestetner C7435 for about 2-3 years. Fairly good at figuring things out.
Error remove misfeed at fuser unit.. I have had this error before and fixed the problem.
This time however, I have taken out all parts, examined, used a flashlight, removed and checked the fuser unit at least 4 times, rolled the blue dial etc.. The error message is still showing up. My concern is I'm wondering if the memory on the computer is "messed up". In otherwords, there is no paper jam actually. The last thing I printed were whole sheets, no little bit of paper missing etc...
Is there a way to reset the Gest. ??
I print off the newsletter for the non-profit organization I'm pres. of Central Florida Palm and Cycad Society. Needs to be printed so I'm losing time this weekend because techs at where we purchased the machine are not in.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Gestetner c7435 paper jam at fuser unit
It sounds as if the actuator is out of position or bad. In the fuser exit there should be a thin little black (usually) actuator that hangs down and the paper pushes/ lifts it off of the switch/ sensor as the paper passes. If this is pulled out of its holder or broken it will act like there is still paper jammed. The actuator looks like a little ' j ' and is pressed into its holder. If this is seated properly then the switch is probably bad and needs replaced. About resetting --- a paper jam is considered an 'A' code and does not need the machine to be ' service reset '. Please let us know what you find out.

dear you have to verify all the exit sensor related
1. do u have look on fuser unit drive gears.
2. is the exit rollers are good some time exit roller got damaged they don't hold hold paper to run out from machine.
3. do u have clean the exit sensor.
4. do you have verify that the exit sensor actuator is free to operate the sensor.
5. some time exit sensor actuator broken.
That is a bad reading temperature of the Fuser Unit.
I will give same steps to unlock it.
Press yellow key
On the key pad press 1-0-7
Old the red key at least 3 sec
Press copy sp
Exit all the way out
Turn the machine Off / On.
This should be good. If doesn't work you have to call a technician to change some parts of the Fuser Unit like Hot Roller and thermistors.
Hope you understand.
Sounds like a timing jam, check paper supply, fanned, good quality, check and clean paper feed rollers.
Registration rollers clean?
If you are a tech, check and clean paper feed clutches, registration clutch. Check fuser for bearings, fuser drive, fuser roller cleaner or worn rollers.
Check exit sensor, is it out of place, is the actuator worn out, is the paper curling and coming off of the paper too early,
there are 4 or 5 sensors through paper road:
1)paper input sensor near input roller
2)margin sensor between input roller and cartridge unit
3)transfer bell sensor between cartridge and fuser unit
4)fusing sensor before fusing
5)out put tray sensor
check all sensors if you can find out and check any paper jam there and check sensor stander at normal position, also check each sensor click ok(the micro switch ok) .
there is any sensor out of work should be showing paper jam.
