Brothers MFC 210c ink tray needed has pin hole in it ink all over bottom of tray . I need to buy one where do I buy one? Cant find a place to buy one......

So if you found out that there is a pin hole in the foil, you have opened the printer already yet: I wont explain how to open cover to get to the ink tray. Wear 1# aid handshoes!!! Loose the capillaries carefully at the ink tray.(Fingernail under the capillaries; Do NOT strech the caps!!!) Clean the tray under warm water. Let the water run into the pins where normaly the carts let the ink thru. Do that until it looks brand new. Shake tray well to get the water out. Turn around to see the bottom (foil). Use some good glue to fix the pin hole. Wait a few minutes. Do this a second time. While waiting that the glue is dry clean bottom of printer with some papertowels. After glue is dry, use some water to test if the tray is ok. If so carefully stick the capilaries onto it again. Reinsert tray. Watch the white connection cablewires! Fasten cover

This unit has issues with the ink detect sensors. Have you tried a brand new cartridge? Other wise you may need a technician to solve the issue directly.

My Brothers MFC 210C All-In-One Inket printer is printing blurry. It has been used in a year. I changed the cartridges and ran the cleaner but it still prints light and blurry. What can I do? Thank you.
keep on printing the catridges will satrt function well after few prints if they have ink and heads are ok , if not take out cartridges shake them well chek head are leaving ink on a tissu paper if not place cartridges under runing water tap clean their heads and dry them with tissue paper and place them again nowi think they will work i

Cant self clean
You need to go to the brothers sight and down load the utility program, and install it. If you can't get it there go to WWW.driversguide.com.

Printer wont print
hi,

check the conncetion of your brother to your PC connection.
if you try already this one and still have the same problem.

please go to the store where did you buy because surely the problem is in the hardwars or some parts of your printer.

Need to install printer, can not find cd to install, printer has been deleted

Only print on black and yellow
did you use generic ink? those ink will clog the ph espacially the mag + yellow channels.

do use original brother ink carts because these contains special cleaning fluids!

My brother mfc 210c won,t scan or copy
I just called Brothers product support and found out that these machines WILL NOT scan or copy or do anything until the ink cartridges have been replaced. So there is no other solution.

How To Refill?
Harry, you can use every DYE ink for brother printers. DO NOT use pigmented ink due to clogged filters inside the printhead!!!! The carts for mfc210 are filled with 20ml for BK and 11ml for C/Y/M. I use to refill 20ml only ink for bk and 10ml ink + 1ml printhead cleaner for C/Y/M. See here how to do that (LC900 refill): http://www.hstt.net/refill-faq/brother.html#LC-900 Refillen (Simply drill a hole into the brother brandname and leave it open!) I use a 20ml syringe and 3 12(10+2)ml syringes from the drugstore (ask your doc! It may be cheaper ;-)

Brother problem
Did you use third party ink? If the ink is pigmented the filter in front of the printnozzels is clogged and cant be cleaned any more. What you can try is to buy a brand new original brother ink cart and do the cleaning 3 times. After that do a testsheet printing. In case its OK, your lucky and it was a problem of the cart. If you cant see any blocks (with the original ink used!!!) the printhead is crashed and has to be replaced (BTW: Its cheaper to buy a new mfc)! Do use only dye ink for brother printers!!!
