Bissell pro heat cleaner

The soap dispenser is full and while I am shampooing the carpet, there is no soap coming out and the dispenser remains full and I just have dirty water.

shampooed the rug with garage sale prize three times. FIrst time no soap came out nor did enough water plugged up vacuum second time to no soap due to us changing dial. Then we got the soap to work too well and it worked well. But how do we now control soap better. Does it have to be on the mark or a little before.

I had this problem. Sprays water but not soap. Fixed it by taking off the rear cover and cleaning out the tube immediately downstream of the soap reservoir. It was plugged solid with old soap. The soap receptacle just pops out with some gently prying, so that you can take off the hose to clean it out.

Note, I had to re-prime the pump after I put it all together. This was annoying, but not very hard: take the cover off the water reservoir, put the part with the bladder back onto the machine, turn it on and press the trigger while placing your hand over the rubber gasket to block off the suction. You should see the flow indicator spin very fast when you block it off. Alternate between pressing and holding the trigger and blocking off the suction a few times. I did this several times, then it started spraying water like normal again.

Probably a good idea to use the rinse feature when done cleaning, and/or run some water (with vinegar) through the soap dispenser to help stop old soap and minerals from building up inside the machine.

Another possibility is that the plunger part of the soap dispenser's cap insert is getting stuck. It's the part where there's a spring. There is a button that I noticed on mine kept getting stuck. I rinsed it really well, pressing it repeatedly in running water. Seems to have done the trick.

This could be due to dried out soap in the works below the dispenser. Try cleaning the hole, putting plain water in the soap dispenser to clean it out further. You could just put some soap in with the water. Be sure to run lots of rinse water through afterward to clean out the heating unit.

My Bissell did this same thing and it took forever for me to figure out. Seems one of my kids turned the dial that says heavy traffic, normal traffic around and around. All I had to do was turn it back until it wouldn't turn anymore and VOILA!

Bissell Pro heat 2x the shampoo tank empties out

the o-ring is likely dislodged on the screw on cap

personally I would recommend just filling the soap container with water and a little bit of white vinegar instead of the detergent. You won't leave soap residue in your carpet that way.

Soap will not dispense from Bisell Pro Heat carpet cleaners

This is a design flaw. The pump design has a problem with staying primed. Only going to another brand will you solve this problem. I recommend the Royal 7900 series extractor.

Bad Pump. You pump is where the belt attaches to spin the brushes and also puts water on the floor. Take it to you local Best Buy to be serviced or a local appliance shop which may service it.

Bissell power shoot carpet cleaner

It sounds like the heater may be plugged. This is a problem for an experienced technician. The heater is located in the handle and they are prone to plugging at the tubing connections. The heater is heating soap and water solution and this can cause the soap to coagulate and plug the lines. It must be addressed carefully to avoid damaging the heater.

Soap dispenser

Probably plugged with soap. Try to clean the hole under the shampoo dispenser. Put plain water in the dispenser and hope it gradually cleans it out.
