LG WM2075CW (TROMM Ultra Capacity)Front Loading Washer
When the front door of the washer is fully, properly and securely closed - and the start button is depressed - an alarm sounds, the "Door Locked" indicator flashes and the washer won't start.
The door has to be opened and closed several times - at just the right angle and with just the right amount of pressure (by pressing hard against it) - to get the indicator to recognize that the front door is closed and the washer to start.
This problem is intermittent and no one ?technique? works every time.
Is there a way to fix this same problem? The "PF" keep flashing on my LG wm2075cw front loader. I do not know what it means. The buttons are now also not working properly. What can I do about that? I have a Ge profile washer, over the last few years it has gotten harder to close the door, replaced door lock switch, now it will not close and lock unless I hold alot of pressure to the door, it has always had a problem closing, just has gotten a lot worse. Any ideas, could the rubber seal need replacing.I have a Ge profile washer, over the last few years it has gotten harder to close the door, replaced door lock switch, now it will not close and lock unless I hold alot of pressure to the door, it has always had a problem closing, just has gotten a lot worse. You should access the lid switch (the switch is inside the machine main housing near the door frame) and to see whether it become loose or was broken.
Good luck!

If the washer won't start, the user control and display board or the main control board may be defective. The main control board failure is not common. Check other parts and causes first.
If there is power to the display and the machine wont start, check that the door is latching properly as there is a switch in the door latch that tells the control board when the door is properly closed. The switch might be faulty.
The "dE" error code indicates that the LG Tromm washer's door has not been properly closed. Closing the door firmly usually clears this error. If the error does not go away once the doors closed, a service technician should be consulted.
This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed
these machines are mean on water and you can open the door after wash starts
use good quality soap powder that suits front loaders and always wash at 40 deg or above
the black stuff is body fat that is still in machine called scud to me
also if you use conditioner in rinse cycle stop using that
it can cause same problem
