Technical skills required to do this process, remove top, side doors, un lock carriage from service station, remove service station, clean & lubricate it for free movement, fix it back. try for print.. this is only solution for this issue, but mind that its dirty work...
I
will suggest you try reset the printer, follow the instruction below
to reset your printer, if the problem still persist, replace the cable
that connects the printer to the power outlet. If that did not still fix
the problem, you will need to reinstall the driver of the printer, you
can get it at HP web site.
1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold # and 6 keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.
If that did not fix the problem, try this,
Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on.
Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord.
Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys.
Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new.
Solution Follow these instructions to adjust the clutch on the printer. Disconnect the USB cable. Press the printer power button to turn off the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer. Open the top cover of the printer. Remove the print cartridges from the printer. Slide the cradle to the right side of the printer. Locate the clutch on the left side of the printer. NOTE: The clutch is a flat, white, plastic component that rests just above the white roller gear wheel. In the HP Photosmart P1000 and P1100 printers, the clutch is black metal.
Figure 1: Printer clutch
Remove the rear access door from the back of the printer. Press the clutch firmly towards the back of the printer, while rolling the wheels in the back of the printer upward two full rotations. Release the clutch and roll the wheels up two more rotations. Reinstall the rear access door. Reinstall the print cartridges and secure the latches in place. Close the top cover and reconnect the power cord. Turn on the printer. Print a test page. NOTE: If the printer continues to display a Print cartridge cradle is stuck message or make grinding noises, click "contact hp" on this page for more support options.
" CARTRIDGE SEVICE STATION IS STUCK " with a blinking red light...
it's a bit difficult...just fixed it today....
first of all...u have to be sure that your service station is clear from any other old ink that maybe dried....that stuck the movement of the service station...
if it doesn't work again...folow the next step...
1. u have to pull out the service station... ( the difficult one ..!!! ) 2. under the service station, there is a small motor....just find a new one and change it..
it works...
.....i found this new motor in an old hp printer's service station that i have...
Although it did not work for me, HP offered this as a solution. If it does not work, HP indicate you have a hardware fault that can only be fixed by a service engineer repair.

Does your carriage just move to the right side and get stuck? That's what mine does. I just fiddle with it and wiggle stuff until it's starts working and it'll work until I shut it down but when I turn it back on it starts all over again.
