Question about Netopia ADSL 2+ MODEM 10/100 EN AND USB FIREWALL SECURITY Router (2241NVGX)
I followed all the instructions that I printed off the website. Windows isnt allowing the program to come on. I disabled the windowsupdate. I went to www.futura-support.com for my instructions. I'm using windowsVista connected to the ce-100 futura embroidery machine by a usb cable. Help if you can [email protected]
OK you could try Installing & then Running the "Program" in "Administrator mode", & set Compatibility Mode for XP. Ie: Uninstall completely, Install software as Administrator Mode & then after installed, set the main .exe, for Compatibility Mode for XP... and set to RUN with Administrator rights. ONLY THEN after it is all installed.. PLUG THE DEVICE IN... if it asks for "Drivers" point it to ya Install Disk. Also try to use "any other" USB port when you reinstall. Ensure B4 ya do all this that you have the most up to date drivers for your system's USB. Good luck hope this help?

Unfortunately, the only place I found after searching and searching months ago was to go back to Singer itself and pay for a new CD. The cost was $100 as of January, 2011. It doesn't do any good to copy someone's CD or for someone to get it to the internet for you to download, because when you go to install the software the program asks for you to put the CD in the drive, and the program knows to look for an original CD.
First, there's a Windows 7 update
available at www.Futura-support.com. Click on the lefthand side, then
on CE100/150/250/350, etc, etc. Follow the directions CAREFULLY.
First, be sure the uninstall ALL Futura software you've attempted to
install and reboot your PC.
If for some reason this doesn't
solve you're problem, I've posted a set of instructions at
http://www.fixya.com/support/r8955271-use_machine_windows_7_or_vista
that will allow you to run the software under XP on your Windows 7
machine. This is a bit more complicated a solution, but if you follow
the instructions carefully, you should be fine. Try the Futura update
first, though.
