Recommended that you have a tech come out and look at it might have a bad LED assy. for the Magenta Image unit. All other color print OK? Can you print gradation test pattern for each color in service mode? Meter count, details, stop 00 stop 01 Test Output Gradation pattern select magenta. If you open the side cover after printing a document with the color magenta try to catch a print of paper do you see the color magenta on the transfer belt if yes the drum is ok could be the transfer belt magenta 1st transfer roller on the belt replace the belt assy.
It's not a printing problem ' it's your networking' try using the cable provided with your printer via usb' if it prints ok' then you need to reconfigure your printer settings' updates or clean re install.
1515n - I have the Magenta colour 'shadowing' the blue test. A mirror image of the blue text. [slightly staggered] Black is fine. Applies to all Word docs when printing in blue - can you help please? I only use genuine cartridges. Thanks Jules Radstock
I have a similiar issue that just started happening recently - the printer shows FULL inks but the PC thinks it has empty inks. I tried the * #, 123 reset hardware failures, but that didnt help. Printer run self diagnostics says all is fine....
I am using USB connections - and this has been fine for years, until now. Maybe a microsoft patch issue?
First run the CLEAN HEADS and see if that helps. If you don't use your printer at least once a week the Print Heads get dried out and will not allow the ink to pass through to the paper. Go to control Panel and click on Printess. Then when the window comes up, CLICK on Properties TAB and then in the next window, CLICK on CLEANING. You may have to replace your PRINT HEAD if that doesn't work. Hope this is of some help. Bud
I think all you need at this point in time is servicing the card printer, with some of the hardware components like the ribbon been replaced. try get a technician that will help you with this.
Check the front rollers all turn when the cleaning button is pressed with the top open. Check the front pinch rollers on the thin metal shafts are pulled down onto the cards by their springs. Check that the ends of the pinch roller shafts are retained in the plastic cam followers. The card is not being gripped to drive it back to print the Magenta panel.
