Hello zack0893, you have two options: Couple options: -Does the xbox still boot games? If so, boot up the exploit, and install UXE Complete from "the usual places". Your xbox will be fine. UnleashX has memory card/save management. To get your dash back, you could cold-boot a live-enabled game (SC should work, actually), connect the xbox to a network, and select LIVE, the latest dashboard will install. -get Slayers AutoInstaller disc, and extract the contents with QWIX. The original dash files are in side a c:\ folder somewhere. hope this will fix your problem. AMINE

My xbox live account was delected

Download your Xbox Live profile
You might want to download your Xbox Live gamer profile in the following situations:
  • You want to use your Xbox Live gamertag on another console.
  • You have a Zune, Games for Windows, or Windows 8 Microsoft account (download your existing account instead of creating a new account).
  • You accidentally deleted your Xbox Live gamertag from your console.
You can download your Xbox Live gamertag to any console. Here's how:
  1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
  2. Select Download Profile.
  3. Note Not seeing Download Profile? Press X to sign out of your profile.
  4. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox Live gamertag. If you don't know your Microsoft account or password, see Find your Microsoft account or password.Note "Microsoft account" is the new name for what used to be called "Windows Live ID." It's the email address and password you use to sign in to Microsoft services (including Xbox Live). Find out more.
  5. Now, enter your Microsoft account password.Note If your account is an Xbox Live child account, the parent's Microsoft account information is required to download the profile.
  6. Select the storage device for your profile (for example, Hard Drive).
  7. Your profile will begin downloading. Once your profile is downloaded, you can choose whether or not you want to require your Microsoft account password to sign into your profile.

    2. On your console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
    3. Select Memory.

    7. If you are asked to enter your console serial number, enter your number, and then select Done. This step helps guard against accidental formatting.

What's wrong with my Xbox 360? I turn it on it looks like it's working then looks like ive never played the game before.. no memory, no avatar, no gamer score?

It may be that you accidentally deleted your gamer tag. try recovering it from Xbox live. if you deleted your tag you may have also accidentally deleted your saves too which you cannot recover.

E 71 error on xbox 360

Sorry timehrhart you've just copied a huge section from Xbox Scene forums without mentioning the Reset codes.

Back to the question - E71 is due to a dashboard update, most new Xbox consoles get this error due to missing a patch that was available to download when the new Xbox dashboard came about.

To fix this you have to clear all game updates and clear the console cache and update your console via Xbox Live. To do this on the old dashboard layout go to the 'System' blade and then Console / on the new dashboard go to 'My Xbox' tab and then go to the far right and choose the 'System Settings' and then Console and then go to the 'Memory' section. Press Y and enter this code - X,X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X.

You will get a message asking if you want to clear your cache, press Yes and just wait for it to do it's thing and it should come back to the dashboard. Now you have to update your console via Xbox Live and hopefully it should fix the problem.

If this should fail then you have to send your Xbox back to Microsoft for it to be fixed. Microsoft have extended the warranty of any Xbox to 3 years if it has the E71 or Red Ring of Death error, so hopefully you should be covered.
