Not working I have only used the machine (Omega VRT 350) maybe 10 times and it is already not working. I used it a few days a go and now I'm having the same problems as previous person. It wont turn on at all. No sound. Nothing. Can I bring it in to a technician somewhere? Who would fix this type of thing? I don't have access to an electrical "tester" or know what to do with a blown fuse. thank you

The on / reverse switch won't work. The machine is dead. It had been sitting on my counter for a few days (unplugged as always) and the next time I went to turn it on it did nothing. Like I said, I have only used it maybe 10 times and now I have a $400 dust collector. :(

Omega Juicers are amazing but a few disappointing results can put you off. But am sure that ensuring that your machine is completely fastened will give you sure results with your Omega Juicer

I am trying to disassemble. I have done it many times, but the basket won't come off the base this time. I have poured hot soapy water through in forward and reverse. Not working

Many times when juicing very fibourous produce the bowl(basket) can get stuck and you can loosen it by gently tapping on the pulp spout or juice spout to the counter clockwise motion(right), this will loosen the bowl.

Hi- I wanted to use my juicer again after not having used it in at least 2 yrs. Last time (which I can't remember!) I used it, it worked. This time, all loaded up with veggies, when I turned it on it...

Just looked at mine because I thought there also might be an interlock switch
where the latch arms snap shut. There isn't one, at least on this one. Yours
might be a newer edition, so make sure the latch arms are fully seated and
snapped closed. You can also call Omega at 1 800 633 3401 and run it by
them. The reset switch should be in the pushed in position, it will pop out if
it's tripped.

After juicing just a few fruits and vegetables the machine start jumping all over the counter and vibrating really fast.

There is no solution. These juicers do not eject the pulp and go out of balance very easily.
Don't feel bad, I've seen you tube videos where the demonstrator couldn't keep it under
control. If you are unable to master it, consider a pulp ejecting or masticating type juicer.

After juicing a few carrots[some of which were cut on a slant], or several spinach clusters, the machine seems to get off balance and begins shaking violently and making a racket at which point I have to...

There's nothing wrong. These juicers do not eject the pulp and go out of balance very
easily. If you continue to have problems you may have to go for a different type of juicer.
The Hurom or Omega VRT, expensive, look good if you're really into juicing.

My Omega 1000 is 10 yrs old, but I've only been using it regularly for 1 yr and 3 months. Putting a carrot through isn't stabilizing it anymore. It takes off when the screen is 1/2 full. But the weirdest...

Yes the blade is hitting it when the juicer vibrates
severely. I have an Acme, 21 years old, and found
very difficult to control vibration especially with a
new shredder blade. If you are handy this is what
to do. Order a new cover from omega, cover design
has changed so you will need the plunger also. This
may sound incorrect, but you will have to use a small
file to file down the cutting burrs on the blade a fraction
of an inch. Then with the juicer fully assembled, unlock
the set screw on the center of the bottom and turn it
clockwise until the chute contacts the blade then back
it off a half turn. Now the chute to blade gap is set
correctly. In filing down the burrs you make the blade
a little duller but you also narrow the gap and feed
the produce through more slowly and evenly. This
comes from 21 years of using this machine. With
a new blade I could not control the vibration no matter
how I fed the thing. If this sounds a bit too much get
rid of the Omega and try the pulp ejecting type. The
Miracle MJ1000 is a nice little juicer for about $130.

Omega 8005 juicer will not start

flip it over and hit the reset button, if there is one. If not, then make sure that it is put together properly, mine will do the same thing if the pulp collector is on wrong. or if you overheat it, then let it set and try to reset it.... hope that helps.

Will not start

Junk it and buy an Omega, they at least have a decent circuit breaker. Mine quit after starting it and the breaker won't reset. Fixed it with a car fuse.

Wheatgrass juicing problems

Hi, I have an Omega juicer, and I've never had this happen. I recommend that you double check to see if you have the right parts attached. It comes with two inserts, one with a small metal screen on the bottom, the other has no screen, it is solid. The solid one is for crushing and proccessing food. The one with the screen is used for juicing. Make sure you have the correct one installed. If that is not the problem, I think perhaps the grass is too dry? Maybe there isn't enough moisture in it to extract much. I really can't say, though. Try juicing something else, like carrots, and see if you can get some juice there. If all else fails, contact Omega at their website. They have terrific customer service. I've tested it already with a warranty replacement.
