When I upload my videos to my computer, no sound plays. But the sound on my computer is on and when I look at the video on my camera it plays with sound.
The Samsung S730, and most likley other versions as well appear to be using mLaw audio codec. I am having trouble locating the manufacturer to download the codec into Windows Media, but I do know that VCL media player free at www.videolan.org will allow simple playback of this audio codec.

Yeah, that happens to me too. Sometimes it will work on the computer, and sometimes it doesn't. I have managed to get a couple to upload on YouTube, though.
Mine has a similar problem. When I try to play the video after uploading it to the computer on WMP or DivX or Gom player, they all make this horrible screeching noise, or they don't play sound at all. And when I tried to follow their instructions to install the appropriate codec, but I can't find what it needs...
does the exact same thing as this one and is very annoying!
where can i find this codec?
