Usually when you plug it in it will come up on My Computer. Find the USB port that its in and open up the file. Then you can delete as many songs as you like without having to format the whole thing. Hope this helps !!

All I want to know is how you delete songs off the mp3 player?

Here's the manual:

http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa3345_37/sa3345_37_dfu_aen.pdf

What you asked about is on page 21.

Deleting files is done by hooking it up to your computer and deleting the songs through your file system (such as Windows Explorer). Look for the player in the root directory and open it, then delete songs.

Deleting song off my mix max

You might want to delete it all off of ther and start over. Mine did that and it said the files were corrupted. I think it happnes after a while with the mix max. I don't know what else you can do. I know you have to plug it in, and go to "open folder to veiw files" you can delete them one by one from there.

Bad track error. songs arent deleting after reformatting and resetting multiple amounts of times.

There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details

If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files

Zen sleek frozen after trying to delete songs

Why does technology make you work for what you already paid good money for? Have you tried going into Recovery Mode? You do this by holding down the Play/Pause button while triggering the Reset button. Once there, you have four options. Try selecting Disk Cleanup and then Reboot. You might need to re-Sync a few things but it's worth a shot. Good luck.
