Refill system for used Epson Stylus C67 cartridges

Well, it's not a real problem with the printer. The thing is that every time a cartridge run out of ink I have to adquire a new one as replacement, and the prices are constantly increasing all the time. I don`t want to use the refilling ones they offer around, because I fear a little awesome about. However, I understand that there is a new homely ink refill proccess, very easy and with great acceptance everywhere. Is it really true? Please, give me your best advisory help in all sense, and many thanks in advance. Edulfo Lira.

Hi Edulfo - my advice is to buy compatible cartridges. These are not refills but new cartridges that will work in your printer, but are not made by Epson. See your local e-bay site for very low cost cartridges of this type.

In addition, there are "Continuous Ink Supply Systems" (CISS) which replace the cartridges with bottles of ink. See:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CISS-FOR-EPSON-C67-C87-CX3700-CONTINUOUS-INK-SYSTEM-_W0QQitemZ220307456327QQcmdZViewItem

for information about these. Once again e-bay is the cheapest source.

How to refill epson stylus sx445w cartridge

Hi there

It depends on the cartridge - the genuine Epson cartridges and the various clones are not all constructed in the same way. Do a google search on "epson stylus sx445w cartridge refill instructions" and review the various recommendations - you will soon see which best applies to your cartridges. Note, however, that the chip restter manufacturers do not guarantee to work with all clone cartridges.

I would like to refill Epson Stylus CX9400 old ink

You cant recode the cartridge it is programmed to die and fry. You can get chips but many DIY filling options are going to cause you other issues down the road, they are a cheap way to run your printer but eventually willc ause you issues such as ink leaks which leads to the in pad needing to be renewed not to mention some other horror stories. I would alays reccomend OEM inks, but if non OEM is hte way you want to go contact a retail outlet that specialises in refilling spent cartridges.

Can I refill the ink in my Epson Tx110 stylus printer ? I have the ink but have no instructions as to where to make hole in black and color cartridges. Please HELP Thanks

You should be able to refill the cartridges with no problem I do it all the time on a variety of different printers, I'm not familiar with that particular model, I am guessing that you are in Australia, here is a quote from their page for your printer:
"This printer is designed to be used only with Genuine Epson Intellidge™ ink cartridges
Intellidge™ Ink cartridges are not designed for refill."

So I am really not sure hope that has been some help.

If this helps, with the Epson C40 Stylus here in Canada there is only two cartridges black and one for the the colors if you rub your over the sticker if there is one towards the back of the cartridge it should show an indentation this is on the C40 cartridges, this is where you fill the cartridge, same on the black I believe, that or may not work for you.

I would like to refill Epson Stylus CX9400 old ink

I wouldn't recommend it because it will void your Epson warranty.

Color Ink prints are nice, but this cannot be an everyday printer --- the cartridges will put you in the poor house.

Buy a cheap monochrome laser printer (recommend the Brother brand) and save the purple ink for the elections.

Cheers!

Printing

The Epson printers require all cartridges to be installed and contain ink before the printer will print. If you do not want to buy a new cartridge, in extremis you can get over this by resetting an empty cartridge to "full" using a resetting tool (available for £3-£4on E-Bay). However, I advise you to refill the cartridge with distilled water to avoid possible print head damage incurred from it drying out. It's much better to buy a new cartridge - compatibles are very cheap on e-Bay.

Epson stylus cx4800 won't print

Hi, reason we sell epson printers are they are the cheapest to run, but they do get alot of problems with the print heads, if you change from using refill ink kits to compatible ink cartridges you would not have to reset the chip each time, otherwise you will have to change to a more expensive to run printer like the HP, or Lexmark, lexmark is the most expensive for cartridges but it has the print heads built into the cartridge and not the printer itsself, epson only have the chip on the cartridge.
You can use the refill kits on most HP & Lexmark without having to reset the cartridge all you need to do is refill it.
but for every 3 for example you may have to buy a new cartridge which will be more expensive, ie if you get lines through your print, as the print head will probably get blocked on cartrdige.

Happy New Year
