Please perform a erase operation and check if the drive does it, If its not then go ahead and check the SCSI controller if you have a spare one replace it.

Gateway GT5032 video flicker after installing windows 7 Home Premium.

Have you tried putting the old video card back in to see if the problem is still happening ?

Video card might be installed correctly or not be compatible or you might not have enough ram installed to cope with new video card.

Inspiron 8500 laptop (80GB) intermittant boot failure

Hi

Thank you for your query

If there is a clicking noise inside then the hard drive is on the way out, the arm that reads the data is knocking against the plates, thus the noise

I would recommned that you back your data as soon as possible as the drive will eventually fail

Please can i ask that you leave feedback and vote if this has been useful

Getting error message: Internet Explorer is not responding. This is IE version 8.

Go into the event viewer by entering eventvwr in the run dialog box.

Locate the application and system tabs. There will be an event ID relating to the problems. You may need to clear the logs first, don't save, then reboot and try to connect.

On another system that you have, go to Microsoft Technet and enter the event ID and keep the description handy.

If Microsoft doesn't have a fix, then you'll have to do a system restore to when the internet worked last.

Event error 1033

it seems like this problem may be related to your video. I found this forum about the same problem and it seems there are several different reasons. You can try to load new drivers for your video card (search your computer brand and model + video drivers) and see if that helps. Other than that you can try one of the solutions offered in the previous link
